Rav Berland shlit"a in a Lesson for the Children of Talmud Torah Nechamat Tzion

Students of the fifth and sixth grades from the 'Nachamat Tzion' Talmud Torah arrived at the holy dwelling of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The Rav shlit"a gave a lesson to the children of the house of the Rabban, strengthened them in holy conduct, and even concluded with them the chapter of the morning prayer from Tractate Berachot. Afterward, the Rav shlit"a presented a signed certificate to each of the students.
From the words of our teacher, Rav Berland, to the students, one can see a glimpse of the path of humility and holiness that the tzaddik imparts to his students from early childhood. The Rav said to the students in the presence of their teachers, "Even if you have already prayed with the Rav in a minyan, you must pray the entire prayer at the Talmud Torah. You must arrive early for your studies and not speak about any Breslov chassid. Even if someone spoke words of controversy, do not pay attention to it; it is all nonsense. Whoever speaks, it is forbidden to speak back about him; this is a Torah prohibition, and no prayer is accepted [if one does so]."
