Rav David Abuchatzeira: “The Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita

RAV DAVID ABUCHATZEIRA: “IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO HARM THE TZADDIK RAV BERLAND BY EVEN SO MUCH AS A HAIRSBREADTH.”

The following message was recently left on the Shuvu Banim information line in Hebrew, by a recent visitor to Rav David Abuchatzeira, shlita:

“Rav Eliezer Berland’s persecutors within the wider Breslev community are increasing their efforts to ensnare more innocent bystanders by spreading their campaign of lies to the English-speaking community.

“To this end, two of the Rav’s principal persecutors recently flew out to the US where they arranged meetings with a number of leading Rabbis and Rebbes there, solely in order to peddle their slanders against Rav Berland and the Shuvu Banim community.  [Baruch Hashem, very few people were taken in by their terrible deceit.]

“Meanwhile back in Israel, more and more of our leading Rabbis, Rebbes and Gedolei HaDor are putting out statements publicly supporting Rav Berland, shlita.

“The latest statement comes from the Gaon, Tzaddik and kabbalist Rav David Abuchatzeira of Nahariya, shlita. Just two hours’ ago, I was with Rabbi David, shlita, and I asked him what’s going to be with the Gaon and the Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita. He answered me: “He’s already been saved.”

“I replied: ‘Yes, kavod HaRav, but he really needs Heaven’s mercy. He’s not feeling good.’

‘Did you hear what I said?’ Rabbi David responded. ‘He’s already been saved. Do you believe [me]?’ he asked me.

“I replied: ‘Yes, kavod HaRav.’

‘If so, he’s already been saved,’ he told me. Then, he showed me how the name Eliezer spells out: Elokim Lo Rata Eyin Zoletecha, Yiasa lemachakeh lo - ‘The Lord, no eye has seen someone like you, He will do for those that wait for him’ - and then Rabbi David told me:

‘It’s impossible to touch the Tzaddikim, even by as much as a hair’s breadth. It’s impossible [for them] to harm Rav Berland, shlita.’”
