Rav Nisan Kivak shlit"a
The Pursuers are Destroying Judaism and Bringing the Plague

The esteemed chassid and mashpia, R' Nissan Dovid Kivak shlit"a, one of the most prominent and respected Breslov mashpi'im in Jerusalem, joins the line of rabbis who are one after another speaking out against those persecutors who are destroying 'Breslov' and all of Judaism.
These are the harsh words spoken by Rav Kivak against the persecutors of Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a:
"Because of this, there is a plague, because people were not brought to teshuvah (repentance); on the contrary, they were brought to teshuvah and then fell back because there is no place for them, and furthermore, they are being persecuted. They are being driven crazy, humiliated, and driven crazy again."
"The kelipot (husks) remained that cannot be clarified, because they were not clarified, and they fell again. In the last five or six years, several thousands have fallen completely, especially those who had already come to our Rebbe; they fell completely because of the actions of these jesters, may Hashem have mercy."
"When there is a place that does not shine with the light to bring people to teshuvah, the fear of Hashem is not illuminated below. The work of clarifying the imagination, which is the essence of the Rebbe's testament, is the belief in the renewal of the world. If that is missing, they make a big deal out of some custom that they did not receive from R' Levi Yitzchak and all the students."
"It is a pity for the many young men who meet them afterward and laugh at how they confused our heads; they are causing a storm in the world."
"R' Natan said: The main power of Amalek is the controversy against the tzaddikim. This does not mean that they disagree with our Rebbe, but rather with the light that the tzaddik reveals; they disagree with the Rebbe's explanations of the Torah, the power that the Rebbe can exert for us."
"As R' Levi Yitzchak used to say, what is the Rebbe doing for you? Are you waking up at midnight? It is impossible to clarify, as so many souls have fallen, by way of crazy people of controversy, whom everyone laughs at. It is all nonsense, but to confuse a weak person, to instill in him external fears so that he will be afraid of them."
"People who coerce are enough to cause plagues and pestilence, Heaven forbid. Hashem has His messengers; in the end, we too will return in teshuvah. It is the order of the world that there is always controversy, against the Baal Shem Tov and against our Rebbe. Today, the whole world is searching for our Rebbe, thank Hashem; ninety-nine percent who are looking for our Rebbe have no place in Breslov, because a few crazy people are driving everyone away and separating every person from the service of Hashem. Torah Aleph does not exist, Torah Bet does not exist, not a single halacha from Likutey Halachot exists. What does exist? Some custom heard on a tape from a tape—there are people who heard R' Levi Yitzchak who would speak calmly and truthfully, and gave a place to everyone."
"And the main existence of the light of our holy Rebbe is in derech eretz (respect) for one another. That is how the crazy people speak, whom everyone laughs at; no one is confused by their vanities, but we are speaking of those who fall. It is a pity to speak of these follies, but everyone is asking why there is trouble in the world, why is there all this controversy? So that there will be more kelipot."
"The tikkun (rectification) is that we should not fear the persecutors. It is written that every plague comes from these kelipot, that every plague comes because it is impossible to clarify the fear of Hashem. People fall into nervousness, fears, and confusion—darkness."
"This is the shame and humiliation that the Rebbe speaks of in Matzah Shemurah. And the fear of the opponents—today the main opponents are from within Breslov, everyone knows it. Today, the whole world is already searching for our Rebbe, they want this matter."
"Look at what happened to Korach; Korach fell from the incense, do not play with the incense. The incense is the power of the tzaddik in the aspect of Yosef, who can rectify the Yesod, so one must connect with the tzaddik—the trouble is that it is impossible to connect with the tzaddik because they are afraid of some crazy person, of someone who did not receive from anyone, as is known. We enjoy them, they make a lot of money from them. Thank them, but the main tikkun is that you should not fear anyone who opposes what the Rebbe speaks of regarding the ways of serving Hashem."
"Anyone who only looks at the opponents—thank Hashem, we are normal people who know that one does not deal with crazy people, we have no business with them—but this is the essence of fear: the essence of fear is not to be afraid of someone who distances me from our Rebbe, not to be afraid of someone who confuses me from the service of Hashem, and that is the essence of the tikkun for the plague, which comes through the fall of the fear of Hashem."
"The main plague that is always in the world is from fallen fears; a quarter of the world are crazy, it is a plague of madness. And there is a plague of the blemish of the covenant, a plague of fears; they are afraid to come to Breslov."
"They are afraid of someone who speaks madness, and everyone laughs at them, and that is the fallen fear that devours, and that is the plague that is in the world. There is one completely crazy person who manipulates others; everyone knows this and says it."
"It is a pity for the many young people (the opponents) who in a year or two will return in teshuvah, but what they are causing in the meantime, Hashem protect us, but we must rectify this plague."
"Hide yourself with the tzaddik, in the sack of the tzaddik, make such a strong connection, make such a strong connection, that the craziest opponent—even a crazy Breslover—will not be able to touch you."
"Crazy people out, I have no business with the mentally ill."
"The matter of our Rebbe depends on asking and searching; whoever searches merits it. One does not need to speak against the other; he will return in teshuvah. The main thing is what will be with me? That something should not enter me that confuses me from the fear of Hashem, because the whole plague that so many young men have fallen to the army and smartphones is because of the controversies, because they do not respect Torah."
"And there are some crazy people who do not walk in the way of Torah and halacha, and it seems that they are the Breslovers; some young people are being driven crazy by them; no one cares about them, but what troubles come from this..."
"The way of the opponents regarding the tzaddik is that for them, the main thing is smallness. Greatness? After death!"
"If you protest against the opponent, they will call you every possible name; they will make us opponents too. An opponent is someone who does not hold by what is written in the Rebbe's books; none of them spent time around R' Levi Yitzchak."
"After all, they are driving the young men completely crazy, and who is even studying what the Rebbe says, that in everything there is the holiness of the Holy Tongue, to study Torah with fear and enthusiasm—the world is confused."
"Whoever says something not from what the Rebbe says is an opponent, and all the more so someone who coerces the other; if they coerce, it is truly a public falsehood."
