'Renewal' is the Most Important Thing Today - Rabbi Moshe Tzanani on the Torah Monthly

The esteemed Rabbi Moshe Tzanani shlit"a in a special conversation with the 'Renewal' editorial team, discusses the great importance of the Torah monthly - 'Renewal'

Today the greatest publication is this booklet of Renewal. There is nothing else, there is also the book 'Flames of Fire', but how many buy and read it? Usually, after a person has received the poison of the media, that's it, and today everyone is poisoned. Today the media is only Renewal, we need to know that the Renewal booklet needs to reach every home, as our teacher Rav Berland writes about the prayers reaching every home, and there will be sweetening and redemption through this, it will stand against all the judgments. Who today will read the prayers of the Rav after hearing all the media? But, the moment he reads about the tzaddik, words about the tzaddik, deeds of the tzaddik, stories of the tzaddik, then he has the desire to also read the prayers, to read the book 'Flames of Fire.'

We need to prepare to reach all of Israel, this is the only thing we have, we have nothing else, we are blocked in the media. Renewal is the only media that cannot be blocked. We need to reach all the homes, this cannot be blocked, Renewal is the media to know about the tzaddik, to know about Rav Berland, no one knows about the Rav, no one knows about the Rav.

And as we know how much we ourselves, the students of the Rav, yearn to receive another story and word from the Rav, imagine outside, there they have no word and story from the Rav. What they have is only, may Hashem have mercy, all the words of the media, all the lies they are fed.

There are innocent people who read a few stories about the Rav and immediately change. There are endless such stories, people who just heard a little about the Rav and already changed completely. Renewal today is the only media we have, there is nothing, God forbid, today, against the volcano around. What can we do, this is the situation today, such a flood, but what we can do, we must do, the truth enters into the hearts of people. No matter how much they are fed, it is enough to read, as everyone knows, all those who returned in teshuvah, from one word they heard they rose and threw everything away. From a true word, the neshamah feels that it is a true word.

It is enough to see the light of the Rav, the face of the Rav, that is enough, their whole thought already changes. I think the Renewal booklet is the greatest use today of the tzaddik. To publicize the name of the tzaddik, that is the matter of this booklet, there is nothing else, nothing. I think whoever is involved in this today, it is the highest thing that can be. It is the use of the tzaddik, and using tzaddikim is the highest thing.

Today, how will you serve the Rav, what will you do for the Rav? Saying 7 Tikkun HaKlali is important, but Renewal is the greatest thing that can be, it is today the only media we have, the only answer to all the flood there is. Blessed is he who is involved in this matter.

Whoever is involved in all the subscription sign-ups, there is nothing greater than this, truly, not only because there is a campaign that I came to talk about - there is nothing greater than this, to publicize the name of Rav Berland!

Blessed are you.

A question for Rabbi Tzanani from the Renewal editorial team: "What do I say to someone who claims he has no money for a standing order for a subscription?"

Rabbi Tzanani: "How much money are we talking about?"

"Twenty shekels!"

Rabbi Tzanani: "20 shekels is nothing! The subscription for spreading Renewal is a redemption. The twenty shekels is a redemption in the most literal sense."

Renewal member: "One of the yeshiva students asked me if it can be done with tithe money?"

Rabbi Tzanani: "No doubt!"

"Even if he takes it for himself?"

"Yes, it is a redemption more than anything!"
