Residents of Central Israel, Students of Rabbi Mordechai Soferin shlit"a — A Lesson in the Home of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The Shiurim of the Chassidic Rav R’ Mordechai Soferin shlit"a Throughout the Land ○ A Summary from the Shiur
The residents of central Israel are privileged to strengthen themselves through one of the students of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a— the chassidic Rav R’ Mordechai Soferin shlit"a—through fascinating shiurim in Likkutei Halachos and words of encouragement in the path of Rebbe Nachman zy"a and in the light of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. Every Motzaei Shabbos, the residents of Rishon LeTzion merit a grand Melaveh Malkah together with Rabbi Soferin—zemiros and a shiur every Motzaei Shabbos. In addition, on Sunday there is also a fixed shiur in the city of Rishon LeTzion for those who are close. On Tuesday, Rabbi Soferin comes to the city of Tel Aviv, where he delivers a shiur for the local residents; likewise, on Wednesday a shiur takes place in Ness Ziona. Participants in the shiurim in central Israel were privileged to enter a special shiur from The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a in his home this past Monday night, the eve of 2 Elul. In the shiur, The Rav Rabbi Berland shlit"a began with the greatness of tefillah, and the idea of tefillah with niggunim—meriting to be like the Leviathan, to plead like the Leviathan. After that, he spoke about traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah: that one must buy tickets already now for Uman, and there is nothing to fear regarding the war there. Below is a short excerpt of his words:
“There are no wars—there is only Rebbe Nachman! Every person needs to buy a ticket, no matter what! It’s possible to buy a ticket for Motzaei Shabbos and arrive in Uman. If they leave on Motzaei Shabbos, they will still manage to get there. They already spoke with the guards, they spoke with everyone… I just spoke now with [-], they spoke with the entire government, that for Uman they will allow people to travel—that they won’t hold them back, that they will allow them to go straight through. Because there is no stoppage and nothing at all. Even if [at present] there is a stoppage and there is war, they already spoke with all the police and with the entire army, that the moment people say, ‘We are going to Uman,’ they will immediately let them pass, without any delays.” “So we are speaking now that the Tzaddik does everything. The Tzaddik shows that it is all imaginations. There are no wars and nothing at all—this is all only the Baal Davar doing it. Just as with Moshe Rabbeinu: he showed them the bed of Moshe Rabbeinu.”
After that, he continued speaking about this: that the Tzaddik is alive and enduring. Even after his passing, “the tzaddikim, in their death, are called alive.” After that, he spoke about the tremendous importance of remembering a person’s purpose—why he came into the world, and so on. He also added words about the idea of “Avraham was one”—that he shattered all of Nimrod’s idols.

After that, he spoke about how there is no reason to despair because of doctors. Even when they say there will not be children, he brought several stories of miracles from the great ones of the generations: that the very moment doctors said that in that minute that couple would not have children, they were immediately remembered with children. He also spoke about the delaying of punishment: although the Flood was supposed to begin on the 10th of Cheshvan, in the end it began on the 17th, in the merit of Mesushelach. After that, he spoke of miracle stories that happened to several people. At the end of the shiur, he mentioned the story of a miracle that happened to someone who saved the descendants of R’ Yeshaya’le of Kerestir.
