Residents of Central Israel, Students of Rabbi Mordechai Soferin shlit"a
A Lesson in the Home of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The Shiurim of the Honorable Rabbi Mordechai Sofrin shlit"a Throughout the Country ○ A Summary from the Shiur
The residents of the Center are privileged to be strengthened by one of the students of our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – the honorable Rabbi Mordechai Sofrin shlit"a, in fascinating shiurim on Likutey Halachot and chizuk (strengthening) in the path of our holy Rebbe, may his merit protect us, and in the light of our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Every Motzaei Shabbat, the residents of Rishon LeZion are privileged to have a grand Melaveh Malkah together with Rabbi Sofrin, featuring songs and a shiur. Likewise, a regular shiur is held every Sunday in the city of Rishon LeZion for those close to the path.
On Tuesday, Rabbi Sofrin arrives in the city of Tel Aviv, where he delivers a shiur to the local residents, and a shiur is also held on Wednesday in Ness Ziona.
The participants of the shiurim in the Center were privileged to attend a special shiur given by our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, at his residence this past Monday night, the 2nd of Elul.
In the shiur, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, began with the subject of the virtue of prayer and the matter of praying with melodies. And the merit of being like the leviathan, to plead like the leviathan. Afterwards, he spoke about the matter of traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah, that one must purchase tickets for Uman right now, and there is nothing to fear regarding the war there. Before you is a short excerpt from his words:
"There are no wars, there is only our Rebbe! Everyone must buy a ticket, it doesn't matter! It is possible to buy a ticket for Motzaei Shabbat and arrive in Uman. If they leave on Motzaei Shabbat, they will still manage to arrive. They have already spoken with the guards, they have spoken with everyone... I spoke just now with [-], they spoke with the entire government, that they should allow travel to Uman, that they should not track [people], that they should allow travel directly. Because there is no curfew and nothing, even [if currently] there is a curfew and there is a war, they have already spoken with all the police and with the entire army, that the moment people say 'we are going to Uman,' they will let them pass immediately, without any delays."
"So we are saying now that the tzaddik does everything; the tzaddik shows that everything is just an illusion. There are no wars and nothing, and it is all just the work of the 'Baal Davar' (the Evil Inclination). Just as with Moshe Rabbeinu, he showed them the bed of Moshe Rabbeinu."
Afterwards, he continued to speak about the fact that the tzaddik is alive and existing; even after their passing, the tzaddikim are called alive in their death. He then spoke about the greatness of the virtue of remembering the purpose of man, why he came into the world, etc. He further added words regarding the concept of 'Avraham was one,' who shattered all the idols of Nimrod.

Following this, he spoke about the fact that there is no reason to despair from the doctors, and even though they say there will be no children, he brought several stories of miracles from the great ones of the generations, that immediately when the doctors said that at that very moment the couple would not have children, they were immediately blessed with children. He also spoke about the matter of delaying the decree, that although the flood was supposed to begin on the 10th of Cheshvan, the flood eventually began on the 17th in the merit of Methuselah. Afterwards, he spoke of miracle stories that happened to several people. At the conclusion of the shiur, he mentioned the story of the miracle that happened to someone who saved the descendants of Reb Yeshayale of Kerestir."
