Rosh Hashanah Gathering 5783 in Romania with the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer

At a time when many feared the journey to the holy Kibbutz in Uman for Rosh Hashanah, our teacher, the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, did not stop speaking about the obligation of everyone to travel to Uman.

Half a year before Rosh Hashanah, our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a began giving Torah discourses regarding the importance of the journey to Uman, while singing the songs of the holy Kibbutz for hours together with the public. And indeed, without exception, all of his students, followers, and listeners arrived in the holy city of Uman, the site of our holy Rebbe's gravesite, with great self-sacrifice.

Everyone arrived at the holy site of Uman and immediately began the holy work of the days preceding Rosh Hashanah, waiting for their Rav, our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a, but with great sorrow, they were informed that he would not arrive.

Reports began to emerge from the media that those who dispute and persecute our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a committed a vile act that should not be done, and paid the Ukrainian authorities a large bribe so that they would forbid the entry of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a. Their intention was to stop the holy Kibbutz surrounding our teacher, the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, but their scheme did not succeed.

Immediately upon learning of this, dozens of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a's students traveled with self-sacrifice to Romania, the place where the Rav was located. There, they properly performed all the prayers and commandments of the day surrounding our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a, in great light and with a holy flame.

At the conclusion of the holiday, our teacher the Rav shlit"a said that they had performed all the tikkunim there and had brought everyone through.
