The Mincha prayer and Kabbalat Shabbat along with the Arvit prayer of the holy Shabbat and Rosh Chodesh were held in the Toldot Avraham Yitzchak complex right at the foot of the holy tomb of Rabbi Shimon. The atmosphere was one of holy elevation, as the yeshiva students shook the surroundings with their singing and the melody of the prayer words. Many observed from the side, trying to understand the beauty of it all. Only around 10:00 PM did the prayer conclude with the singing of "Bar Yochai."
The Shabbat meals were conducted in front of tables laden with all good things in the dining hall of Bnei Akiva, with Shabbat songs and inspiring words of Torah.
Already at four in the morning, everyone gathered for the morning songs and Shacharit prayer in the courtyard of the holy tomb, the walls truly shook from the singing of the prayer. A sense of holiness filled the entire courtyard, as the prayer extended for about four and a half hours.
Before the Mincha prayer, everyone gathered again to recite the seven Tikkun HaKlali with melody in the courtyard of the tomb for the success of our teacher, the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, and immediately afterwards continued with the Mincha prayer of Shabbat.
The third meal of the holy Shabbat and the Arvit prayer of Motza'ei Shabbat were conducted by the community in the prayer hall of Bnei Akiva with great awakening, immediately followed by the songs of Melaveh Malka.
