Shabbos Sheva Berachos for the Great-Granddaughter of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a • A Record from Motzaei Shabbos

This Shabbos, Parshas Ki Seitzei, the Shabbos of Sheva Berachos was held for the great-granddaughter of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a—the daughter of his grandson, the chassidic Rav R’ Nachman Zucker shlit"a, son-in-law of the mashpia, the chassidic Rav R’ Yehoshua Dov Rubinstein shlit"a—together with the esteemed chosson, Naftali Hertz Goldshmidt hy"u, son of the chassidic Rav R’ Nachman Goldshmidt shlit"a, one of the prominent members of Anash in the city of Beit Shemesh.
On Friday night, the Shabbos night meal took place in the home of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for close to five hours—from 9:30 until 1:00 at midnight. Throughout the seudah, those present merited to hear words of the Living God, and to sing and rejoice with the chosson and kallah in the joy of the Tzaddik’s home.
Likewise, at the conclusion of Seudah Shlishis and during Melaveh Malkah—on Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh—Sheva Berachos was held for the esteemed chosson. Below is the documentation:

Delivering a shiur, holding kvitlach in his hand[/caption]
The shiur that The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, delivered last night on Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh, from Chayei Moharan, section 167:
After Sukkos, the Rebbe Nachman traveled to Lemberg, (Immediately after Birkas HaMazon everyone is traveling to Lemberg. There are ten planes here; each plane holds eight hundred people—there’s room for eight hundred thousand people. Registration is by Eliyahu Peretz; each person… whoever doesn’t register won’t have a place. First thing, we’re traveling to Lemberg.) but in great haste—tremendous haste. No one knew why Rebbe Nachman was traveling so urgently: What is he rushing for? Where is he hurrying to? What—are they closing the banks there? Closing the borders? They also had to cross a border; there was a border there. Lemberg today is Lvov. And Rabbi Nosson says: “And I pursued…” Rabbi Nosson pursued him—he pursued! He pursued! He pursued!—until he arrived and caught up with Rebbe Nachman. Rebbe Nachman was riding with the horses, and he [Rabbi Nosson] was running on foot. Rebbe Nachman was in a carriage with two horses, or maybe even four horses, and he says, “I pursued”—I ran, I ran until Krasne; until Krasne I ran on foot and caught up with the carriage. Rebbe Nachman traveled with horses, and I ran on foot. And then he answered and said to me: “Unz velen zehen un zehen un zehen”—we will always see each other. Because Rebbe Nachman is with us always. We must know this: Rebbe Nachman… this statement applies to every single person—“Unz velen zehen un zehen un zehen.” “Zehen” means “to see,” meaning: we will always meet again; we will always see one another. Wherever we are, Rebbe Nachman does not leave us for even a moment. Rebbe Nachman is with us 24 hours a day—during sleep, during eating, it makes no difference—together with every son and with every daughter, it makes no difference. Everyone who believes in Rebbe Nachman… as the Maor VaShemesh says: when Sarah was remembered, all the barren women were remembered; all the blind saw; all the deaf heard—so the Midrash Rabbah brings. Because the moment we believe in the Tzaddik, all the blind are healed and all the deaf are healed, and everyone is remembered—because we go together with the Tzaddik. And he repeated this several times: What are you worried about? He said to Rabbi Nosson: What are you worried about—do you have debts, do you have all kinds of concerns, what will be with Uman? You have nothing to worry about—everyone is working for you! Everyone will have tickets to Uman. On Tuesday, with Hashem’s help, everyone is flying to Uman, amen. Everyone is exerting themselves and toiling for you—this one travels to Breslau and that one to Leipzig. Leipzig is the biggest commercial city in Europe—even today. When you come to airports there are signs—whoever can read English—LAIPZIC, a flight to Leipzig, in every airport: in Berlin, in Paris, in London—there are signs “Flight to Leipzig,” even today. Rebbe Nachman tells in the story of the Tam, “who was traveling to Leipzig.” When people travel to Breslau—there is Breslau; it’s a city in Germany, it is not Breslov. There is Yeruslav and there is Breslau—two cities in Germany—and “Breslov” is ours. But there are [cities with similar names:] Yeruslav and Breslau. All these are [places] where the greatest commerce is—there are the markets—and the Jews had gold up to the ceiling; they could have built the entire Land of Israel. When the Sultan wanted to sell the Land of Israel to the Jews—only that they would not have an army—but they would have autonomy and do whatever they wanted. And this is all for you. And I arrived in Krasne—I arrived in Krasne—and I waited for Rebbe Nachman to begin traveling. Rabbi Nosson apparently waited for him outside. And suddenly he traveled without informing everyone—suddenly—with a carriage of four horses, it seems. He traveled from Krasne, and I pursued him. Rebbe Nachman with the horses, and I ran on foot—and I managed to catch up with Rebbe Nachman. I merited to reach him by the bridge. At the bridge there is a narrow passage; perhaps there were also a few wagons there. It seems that by the bridge Rebbe Nachman was delayed, and there Rabbi Nosson caught him. And Rebbe Nachman said: “How beautiful that you ran after me! In the merit of this, we will always meet! I will always be with you—we will meet! We will always see one another!” And then Rebbe Nachman said: “I am building a Mishkan.” I am now building the Mishkan—this is the Beis HaMikdash—because the Tzaddikim build the Mishkan. And Rebbe Nachman promises that the Beis HaMikdash will be built this very night, speedily in our days, amen.
