Shocking: "They Destroyed My Synagogue Because I Did Not Protest Enough Against the Humiliation of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a"

After Jerusalem Municipality workers destroyed the synagogue of the Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern shlit"a during the morning hours (Wednesday), Rabbi Morgenstern walked around the synagogue and said: "This happened from Heaven—because we did not protest enough against the humiliation of a Talmid Chacham (Torah Scholar) and the persecution of Rabbi Berland shlit"a." This is according to witnesses present at the scene.
"They destroyed the synagogue because I did not protest for the honor of Rabbi Berland," continued the Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern shlit"a.
One of his prominent students who was present told 'Behadrei Haredim': "The Rav walked around the synagogue in very great pain this morning. He said that this happened from Heaven—because we did not protest enough against the humiliation of a Talmid Chacham and the persecution of Rabbi Berland shlit"a.
"The Rav repeated these words over and over in very great pain. He said that because we did not protest for the honor of a Talmid Chacham regarding what is being done to this Tzaddik—it was caused that we now need to protest the desecration of the synagogue."
One of those present remarked to the Rav: "The Rav has already protested a number of times and issued a long and detailed letter on the matter." The Rav replied: "It is not enough. Especially since people denied it and did not publicize it."
