Silencing Voices at Channel 13: The Truth of Rabbi Berland shlit"a is Forbidden to be Heard – The Great Virtue of Humiliation

From the holy words of our master and teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, from this past week.

At the beginning, our teacher Rabbi Berland shlit"a mentioned what a person merits when cholkim (opponents) arise against him and persecute him without any real cause.

"The cholkim (opponents) give their entire lives to those they oppose—all the Torah they have learned and all the avodah (spiritual service) they have performed throughout their 80 years of life. A person who is opposed can finish the entire Shas (Talmud) in a single second, because they are giving their whole lives and everything they toiled for to the one they oppose. The opponents give the person all of their mochin (spiritual consciousness)."

"A person can live 400 years in the merit of those who oppose him. There is one person whom the whole world opposes—the entire television, the media, everything. The whole world also opposed our forefather Abraham. That person from America paid so that the report would not be published. But he is doing teshuvah (repentance)."

The Rav mentioned the entire matter of the persecutions against him in the media, especially after the following facts became clear:

This is simply maddening and beyond belief!

Rabbi Berland shlit"a, the head of the Shuvu Banim community, stood for hours upon hours in front of the camera of one of Channel 13's most famous journalists, while the journalist sat with pen and paper, making sure to ask every possible question in order to challenge him.

And the Rav answered all the most difficult questions directed at him, creating a fascinating document of its kind that represents the other side of the coin.

But listen closely... it's simply unbelievable! The reporter underwent severe intimidation to prevent him from airing the report, of course, but he did not surrender—until the day before the broadcast, when the channel informed the reporter that the investigative piece he worked so hard on could not be aired. This is simply a murderous silencing of voices, after they themselves have already made several reports about the Rav, yet they refuse to let him speak and explain.

They simply came and closed a deal there among the "high windows" (the powers that be).
