ASARAH B'TEVET
Master of the World, Almighty, on Asarah B'Tevet, when the Temple of fire was destined to descend, the yahrtzeit of Ezra the Scribe and Moharnat, at which time every single person can merit to be like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Aaron, and Joseph. Cast down all the haters and enemies who persecute the people of Israel, and grant me the merit to be "exactly like me," and I will merit to perform miracles and wonders like our holy and awesome Rebbe. And may the verses be fulfilled in me: "For Hashem has comforted Zion, He has comforted all her ruins; He has made her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of Hashem; joy and gladness shall be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of music."
You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to favor her, for the appointed time has come. And in the merit of Machlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah, the daughters of Zelophehad—for he was the terrible fear of the people of Israel, who sacrificed his life for the sake of the Sabbath and so that the Temple would not be destroyed—and he wanted to be included in the Tree of Life. For on Asarah B'Tevet, it is possible to revive all the dead. And then Esther enters the house of Ahasuerus, and then all the judgments in the world are sweetened. "If your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow," like Hillel, who was covered in three cubits of snow, the measure of a mikvah, for Hillel himself was a mikvah of purity, which is the height of three cubits. For the true tzaddik is himself the height of three cubits of snow, which purifies all the creatures who wish to return in true teshuvah (repentance). For the true tzaddikim, our Rebbe and Moharnat, are the two great luminaries, in the aspect of the moon and the sun, the sun and the moon, and they are able to sweeten every judgment in the world, as it is said, "Your wife (721) as a fruitful (153) vine (301) = 1169 in the innermost parts of your house." For a woman is in the aspect of the moon, in the mystery of the two luminaries (653) that our God (303) created (102) through Mordechai the Jew (40) = 1169. For on Asarah B'Tevet, we receive the two tablets anew, which correspond to Rachel and Leah, and we hear the Ten Commandments anew. For on Asarah B'Tevet, Jephthah attempted to sacrifice his daughter, and a Heavenly voice went forth: "Do not lay your hand upon the lad" [End of Abudarham, The Treatise on the Seasons]. And then we merit the twelve stones of the Breastplate of the High Priest, who returns to his service: the ruby, the topaz, the emerald, the turquoise, the sapphire, the diamond, the jacinth, the agate, the amethyst, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper.
Prayer 2
ASARAH B'TEVET
For on Asarah B'Tevet, the 'Heh' of the Name Havayah is completed through the ten tribes who are included in one another: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher, who are included in the month of Tevet, which is the month that is included in the Netzach, Hod, and Yesod of Zeir Anpin, which is the middle bar that traverses from end to end. For the entire service is to lengthen the 'Yud' so that it turns into a 'Vav', for "Moses called Hoshea, Joshua," and at the end of the portion of Devarim, Joshua receives the second 'Vav', which is the perfection of the Name. Joshua is an acronym for "Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust."
For to connect the two foundations—the foundation of Binah/Leah, the secret of Ahasuerus, and the secret of the foundation of Binah of Malchut, the secret of the foundation of Rachel—and when the two foundations are connected, then there is the nullification of the kingdom of the idolaters, which will be on Asarah B'Tevet, just as the kingdom of Haman was nullified over the course of seventy days, which correspond to Cheshvan, Kislev, and ten days in Tevet. For on the 16th of Nisan, the kingdom of Haman was nullified, just before he was to receive the merit to hang people as he pleased. And the nullification of the kingdom of Haman, which was on the 16th of Nisan, is drawn from the power of Asarah B'Tevet, about which it is said, "On this very day, the King of Babylon laid siege to Jerusalem," for "on this very day" is said regarding Yom Kippur, for Asarah B'Tevet is truly like Yom Kippur, which would push aside the Sabbath if Asarah B'Tevet were to fall on the Sabbath.
For the power of Asarah B'Tevet is drawn from Adam Kadmon, from the crown of the crown, in the secret of "It shall come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him who was set apart from his brothers." For only Joseph merited the secret of the crown of the head, which is the Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon. And by this power, it is said regarding Gad, "He tears the arm, even the crown of the head..." in the secret of the crown of the head, "hair walking in its guilt." For only through the illumination of the crown of the head is it possible to cut off all the guilty, and this will be done by the tribe of Gad, from whom Elijah the Prophet emerged, of whom it is said, "He tears the arm, even the crown of the head." For Benjamin is the arm, "and he dwells between his shoulders," and therefore Elijah is also mentioned among the sons of Benjamin.
For through the month of Tevet, when the connection of Rachel and Leah = 274, we nullify all the vipers in the world that were drawn from the bones of the filth of the wicked Balaam and Balak his companions, who are also gematria 274, gematria 'Arad' = 274. Regarding this, Hashem asks Job, "Can you bring forth the viper (274) from its shell, and who can loosen the bonds of the viper?"
Prayer 3
Master of the World, Almighty, on the yahrtzeit of our Rebbe Noson, may his memory be for a blessing, grant me, O God (31), full (71) of mercy (298), to see Elijah (52) the Prophet (68), remembered (233) for good (47), face to face. And may the verse be fulfilled in me: "Then (8) Moses and the children of Israel shall sing this song to Hashem." And I will merit on the yahrtzeit of our Rebbe Noson, may his memory be for a blessing, to be a student (484) and veteran (516) = 1808 of our holy and awesome Rebbe. And through this, what is said will be fulfilled in me: "You delivered (700) mighty men (261) into the hand (16) of the weak (388), and many (258) into the hand (16) of the few (169) = 1808."
