Strengthening in Prayer Before the Discussion

Moments before the court hearing, we recall Passover with the tzaddik and strengthen ourselves in prayer

On the night of the fourth day of Chol HaMoed Passover, a gathering of Torah and spiritual awakening took place in Ashdod with our teacher, the holy tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. Around 2:00 AM, the Rav shlit"a arrived at the synagogue hall where the gathering was held, delivered his holy words, and danced with great fervor with the public.

At four in the morning, the festive gathering in Ashdod concluded. How fortunate we are to have merited such a wonderful time of Torah, joyful dancing, and deveikut (cleaving) to the tzaddik. May it be the will of Hashem that He grant him strength, health, and long life and years.

Our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, opened his holy words at the gathering and said, "Today, the 19th of Nissan, is the greatest day of the year, the yahrtzeit of Rebbe Aharon of Karlin. He brought eighty thousand people to teshuvah (repentance); he brought all of Poland, Ukraine, and Volhynia to teshuvah (repentance)."

"Today, the 19th of Nissan, is the greatest day of the year, the Sefirah of Netzach sheb'Chessed (Victory within Kindness). We merit Netzach sheb'Chessed, and through this, abundant flow is bestowed upon all the worlds."
