Students of the “Ahavas Moshe” Yeshivah at a Shiur in the Home of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Students of the “Ahavas Moshe” Yeshivah ○ Summary from the Shiur
Many of the young men of the Breslov “Ahavas Moshe” Yeshivah are among the members of the “Shuvu Banim” community. Those students merited to enter further in, into the holy inner room, on the night of the 27th of Nissan—Motzaei the yahrtzeit of Yehoshua bin Nun—for a shiur of more than forty minutes: living words of Hashem to these precious young men from The Rav shlit"a.
The Rav shlit"a opened the shiur with the greatness of song and dancing—teaching that if Chizkiyahu had sung, it would have brought about the War of Gog and Magog. After that, he spoke about the future Geulah and the War of Gog and Magog. He then spoke about Shimshon, who struck down a thousand men with a single blow. He also spoke about Shaul, who did not wait for Shmuel and offered the korban, and because of this he lost an eternal kingship. The Rav also related part of a story of the Baal Shem Tov. Later in the shiur, he returned to the theme of dancing, mentioning David HaMelech who danced with all his might and was not ashamed, and he brought the Midrash about this. He spoke about the secret of Rachel and Leah, and also about shalom bayis. He spoke as well about the בעל ההילולא—Yehoshua bin Nun—and about the episode of Shimon and Levi in Shechem, and the dispute between the Ramban and the Rambam regarding this matter. He returned again to Yehoshua bin Nun stopping the sun, and then spoke about the aggadata of “Abba Techinah Chasida,” as brought in the Midrash. Toward the end of the shiur, he told at length the full story of how the grandfather, Rabbi Yisrael Ber Odesser zt"l, drew close—detailing how he met Rabbi Yisrael Karduner zy"a. After the shiur, The Rav blessed all the students that they should merit every yeshuah and shidduchim already this year; and after Kaddish with niggunim, he went out to Ma’ariv with a great crowd.
