Subtitles: Flames of Fire, A Lesson by the Esteemed Tzaddik Rav Berland shlit"a - 18th of Tevet 5782

A Lesson After the Evening Prayer by Our Teacher, the Esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - Eve of the 18th of Tevet 5782

"So tomorrow at four thirty in the morning, the workshop opens, and everyone will start becoming shoemakers like Chanoch who was sewing shoes, for 365 years he was sewing shoes."

"Chanoch's son, Methuselah, lived 969 years, and for 969 years he was sewing shoes, and after that came Lamech, the grandson, who was also a shoemaker, and then came Noah who sewed shoes and through this, he saved humanity and continued the lineage of humanity."

"Yosef is the ibur (impregnation) of Chanoch, he is the reincarnation of Chanoch, the angel Metatron. Therefore, it is written about Yosef: 'And he was a youth with the sons of Bilhah and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives.' And about Chanoch it is said: 'I was young and now I am old,' Chanoch lives until today."

"Therefore, it is written about Yosef: 'A fruitful son is Yosef, a fruitful son by a spring,' fruitful means shoemaker, the letters of fruitful are the same as shoemaker, that the tzaddik who is the angel Metatron is sewing shoes, all day he is sewing shoes."

"Shoes mean that he turns Rachel's crown into Leah's shoes. The entire work is to turn Rachel's crown into Leah's shoes. 'Edom I will cast my shoe,' what shoe do we throw on Edom? What will help if we throw the shoe? Rather, the moment we turn Rachel's crown into Leah's shoe, Rachel's crown connects with Leah's shoes, 'Moab's leaders will tremble' 274, Rachel Leah also 274."

"The entire work is to connect Rachel and Leah, so that the crown becomes a shoe, and then 'Edom I will cast my shoe,' and then we will merit the complete redemption speedily in our days, Amen."

And after the evening prayer, our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a continued and said:

"There are eight hours to sleep, no more than that for a second, because the brain degenerates. All diseases come from sleeping more than eight hours."

"Now everyone straight to bed, whoever can stay awake all night, how good, but whoever knows they won't wake up at 5:30 should go to bed immediately, and be here on time for the laying of tefillin, 5:30 is the laying of tefillin."

"Light is sown for the tzaddik..."
