Sweetening the Judgments
Reciting the Tikkun HaKlali with the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

On Thursday, the 8th of Tammuz, 5772, at the Winter Stadium in Ramat Gan, an awakening gathering was held by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland. More than 7,000 people gathered together to hear words that no ear had ever heard. At that event, the Rav shlit"a chanted the Tikkun HaKlali in the well-known and moving melody, with the entire congregation participating along with him.
The virtue of reciting the Tikkun HaKlali is well-known, regarding which Rebbe Nachman said: "And to rectify all the sins in detail is very numerous, and it is heavy upon a person, and it is impossible to rectify them, for there are many nuances and details in every single prohibition... for there are narrow and thin places where no rectification can reach, except through the Tikkun HaKlali" (Likutey Moharan 29:4) and "It is a very great and awesome tikkun (rectification)" (Sichot HaRan 141). And our Rebbe further added and said: "And if one says them with the proper intention, certainly how good it is. However, the recitation itself is also very effective" (Sichot HaRan ibid.). And he further said: "I am strong in all my matters, but in this I am most strong, that these ten chapters of Psalms are very, very effective!" (Sichot HaRan ibid.).
Rebbe Nachman expressed that due to the great importance of the matter, tzaddikim of all generations labored to find a suitable tikkun (rectification) for all the sins, flaws, and corruptions in the deeds and sins of man, "Hashem has been good to me and enabled me to reveal to the world this wonderful tikkun (rectification)." After Rebbe Nachman revealed the Tikkun HaKlali, he instructed: Go out and reveal to the world the 'Tikkun HaKlali'.
What could be better than participating in the recitation of the Tikkun HaKlali together with the voice of the tzaddik, while the spirit of the Shechinah (Divine Presence) blows with him.
