Many have already become acquainted with the wonderful light of the "Selected Chapters" revealed by our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. These chapters descended to the world and connected with the light of the Tikkun HaKlali with the aim of helping the neshamot of Israel reach complete rectification even in our generation. Rabbi Mordechai reveals to us the wonderful way in which the "Selected Chapters" were revealed to the world and their power according to the words of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a.

These are his words

"Rabbi Eliezer Berland always tells everyone to say the Tikkun HaKlali, and to say also 7 Tikkun HaKlali, he always encourages this. But, there is another terrible and awesome thing, this is a point that has become known in the last year and a half - the terrible revelation of the Selected Chapters."

"The Rav said, at least whoever can add the Selected Chapters once a week, fortunate is he and fortunate is his portion, because it polishes all the rust from the mind, all the most difficult blemishes."

How were the Selected Chapters revealed to the world?

"The matter is like this, 21 years ago, in 5759, Rabbi A. Ben Shaul from the holy community said to our teacher Rav Berland, there is someone who went through difficult and terrible things, what to do with him? And of course, everyone should say the Tikkun HaKlali. Our teacher Rav Berland took out a page and wrote on it the names of ten chapters - 32, 36, 37, 60, 68, 80, 83, 88, 89, 109, and told him to say it. The Rav also wrote him a prayer there to say it, and to do teshuvah, and with Hashem's help, it will benefit him."

"And then our teacher Rav Berland also told one of the tzaddikim in Jerusalem, R' David HaCohen, that Rebbe Nachman of Breslov is the one who revealed these chapters to him - these are chapters that help to bring a person out of the depths, from the most difficult situations. He began to enumerate things there, and said all the things, very difficult things, all these chapters help with teshuvah for all these things."

Our teacher Rav Berland reaffirms the power of the Selected Chapters

"I asked the Rav in Sivan 5779, Rav is it true all this story that there is teshuvah and rectification for the most difficult things and it scrubs the entire soul of a person, cleanses him, is it true in the name of the Rav? He answered: Yes, it is true!"

"I asked the Rav, it was during the korbanot of Shacharit, should it be spread? The Rav said: Spread it as much as possible all over the world!"

"We heard this speech in simplicity, the chapters are the same ones we mentioned earlier, the Rav repeated the chapters, and also to Rav Yitzchak Z. he explicitly wrote those chapters, and also there are those chapters for Rav A. Ben Shaul and he told us those chapters. And there are a few more people to whom the Rav said the same thing."

"I asked the Rav how to call those chapters, a rectification for something? The Rav thought for a second and said: 'Selected Chapters'. One of the friends, Rabbi A. H. told us that 'Selected Chapters' is exactly the gematria of blemish of the covenant. We reiterate that there is the Tikkun HaKlali and immersion in the mikveh of purity that Rebbe Nachman said should be done every day, and strive to purify the person. But, these chapters, our teacher Rav Berland said, whoever can say them at least once a week."

The Rav said to one of the friends - 'I thought you understood what they are talking to you about', but at least once a week. To another person he said to say it on Shabbat. Once he said at the end of the prayer, which I heard, I told him maybe the Rav will strengthen the point of the Selected Chapters, people do not always believe in new things at the end of the prayer. There was a part in the prayer that was not so much with a microphone, after that I asked what the Rav said, and they told me that the Rav said everyone from Shuvu Banim should at least once a week say Selected Chapters. Here he said it explicitly, the Rav said to say them every day? Certainly whoever can say them every day.."

"These chapters, the Rav said, when I was in Bat Yam, that all the virtues can be said about them, all the virtues. And at another time the Rav said that it not only atones, but also saves the person and prevents him from sin, it really foils schemes these Selected Chapters."

Chapters of Cry and Shout for the Polishing of the Human Soul

"Another point, once I spoke with one of the great Torah scholars in the community, and he expounded on this that it is really chapters of cry. "And our teacher Rav Berland revealed another wonderful and terrible thing, that the secret of this is the secret of the legless beggar, from the tales of the holy Rebbe, that it rectifies, as written in Kochvei Or by Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Nachman, that it rectifies the prince who fell from emunah completely. Because our generations have fallen from emunah completely, there is no intellect, the Rav repeated this several times. There is no mind and no heart, no intellect at all, to serve Hashem without feelings, really like a snake. People have nothing, they are looking for something to bring back the spark, the vitality - these are the Selected Chapters that bring back to a person..., and the Rav said to spread them everywhere in the world."

"Rabbi Shlomo Gabay recounted that our teacher Rav Berland said, if you had eyes to see you would see that every second Rabbeinu is in front of me and talking to me. The Rav merited wonderful insights, the tzaddik the milkman, R' Chaim HaCohen said, that the holy Rebbe Nachman of Breslov was completely impregnated in Rav Berland."

"I must say that the responses we received about the Selected Chapters..., from all over the country young people come, secular people, strengthening, people with jeans come to me and say, listen we need this, they come and take 500, 300, it's unbelievable how people want this wonderful rectification."

"A person called me and said that in a few minutes he is coming to my house, and said, I am donating 10,000 shekels to spread 10,000 Selected Chapters. I didn't believe it, within a few minutes he arrived and left me 50 notes of two hundred shekels take this, leave it anonymous. And he said, you don't know who Rav Berland is, you have no idea who Rav Berland is, he is such a tzaddik that you have no idea who he is, what he has done and changed in my life.
