In yet another outrageous step, the blood libel continues in a coordinated and disgusting manner. Every time our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, reaches the end of the previous punishment imposed on him through harsh and malicious libels, suddenly more absurd accusations are unearthed from under the rug.

This time they are talking about an incident that happened 35 years ago, and suddenly, just as the Rabbi is about to be released, they remembered to investigate him, despite the fact that the case was previously investigated and closed due to lack of evidence.

Anyone who is somewhat familiar with the events knows that there is a wicked group of self-proclaimed zealots, whose entire obsession is our teacher the Rabbi shlit"a. They are occupied every moment of their days looking for ways to harm Rav Berland and his holy community.

There is no process of seeking truth here; these are cunning and malicious maneuvers that receive backing from a corrupt judicial system, which has already proven itself time and again in its hatred of religion and its representatives.

This is a comprehensive persecution of the Haredi public, which unfortunately does not understand that there are many other leaders in Haredi Judaism to whom they will turn next.

Rabbi Aharon Schwartz, like many others from the students of Rav Berland and many others who are fed up with the blatant lies, came to the Russian Compound in Jerusalem to protest the disgrace of the Torah scholar.

These are his words spoken before the media that came to cover the event.

"All the investigated have long left the Shuvu Banim community, and if they did what they are accused of, it is only on their personal account if it is proven at all that they are connected to the matters they are being investigated for."

"The same goes for the arrest of Rebbetzin Berland, an elderly woman with a broken hand recovering from Corona, collapsed at home, but instead of taking her with an ambulance to the hospital, they took her with a police car to the investigation unit."

"They are violating the laws, the judicial system has marked a target, marked a person and is drawing circles around him. We expect the truth to come to light and justice, with all the corrupt and rotten judicial system in Israel, to emerge."

"What we are seeing here is another stage in the terrible deterioration of the judicial system in Israel. They take a person whom the court ruled cannot withstand detention conditions, an elderly, sick, 84-year-old man who cannot withstand detention conditions according to the Supreme Court's ruling, and they are dragging him with cruel abuse by the judicial system, when there is no forensic evidence."

"It's all a blown-up balloon of rumors, marking a target and building circles around it, trying to bring down a person as part of a persecution campaign. They mark Rav Berland and pursue him in every possible way, they do not refrain from any method like in the worst days of the communist regime."

"They are now also abusing the Rebbetzin, the wife of Rav Berland, who is very ill, and instead of the hospital, they took her to the investigation room."

"The bullies, the violent and aggressive ones are the judicial system of the State of Israel, and then they say about Shuvu Banim that they are violent."

"With Hashem's help, justice will come to light and everyone will see that Rav Berland is clean and pure, not connected to this case and certainly not to previous ones. It's all libels, fabricated cases directed by dissenters who burn Israeli flags and dance on Independence Day for every soldier who is murdered. These are the most extreme in the Haredi public who have joined forces with the judicial system of Israel to bring down Rav Berland at all costs - when all means are permissible for them."

"It is all directed because Rav Berland brings Jews closer to Torah and mitzvot, unites the people of Israel. There are anti-religious goals here, a complete persecution of religion."
