The Breslov Shuvu Banim Youth Group — Bnei Brak
at the Home of the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Bnei Brak Youth Group ○ Group Activities ○ Summary of the lesson delivered by our teacher, the Rav, to the members of the group
Even in the city of Torah and Chassidut, Bnei Brak, where the flame of Shuvu Banim first ignited, there is much activity among our people of Shuvu Banim. Between prayers, melodies, and the grand Melaveh Malkah, there is also activity for the fine young men of the Shuvu Banim families in the city of Torah, as well as for the Torah-observant youth who are drawing closer. Every Tuesday, the fine young men gather in the synagogue of one of the important Chassidic courts in the city of Torah and Chassidut, Bnei Brak—within the framework of the 'Breslov Shuvu Banim Youth Group'—under the leadership of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a—for soulful songs and fellowship. Furthermore, every few weeks, one of the prominent mashpi'im (spiritual mentors) of our community arrives to add to their wisdom from the 'flowing stream, the source of wisdom' (Rebbe Nachman).
These fine young men were privileged to enter for a special lesson for the group members in the inner sanctum at the residence of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
In the lesson, which lasted nearly forty-five minutes, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, spoke about the virtue of studying the holy Torah. He also spoke of the greatness of Miriam the Prophetess, who merited to influence the entire world, and spoke of the holiness of a person as a burning flame. Likewise, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, mentioned the virtue of the day of 17th of Tammuz, which is truly like Yom Kippur, as it was on this day that Moses ascended for an additional forty days to receive the second Tablets. At the conclusion of the lesson, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, spoke of the great virtue of prayer and supplication, noting how Queen Esther pleaded for her people and her homeland, and agreed to sacrifice herself for the sake of the Jewish people. Here, our teacher, the Rav, began singing 'And Esther added and spoke before the King...' for about ten minutes, after which he concluded with a Kaddish of burning flame and melody. At the end of the Kaddish, all the young men of the holy group passed by to receive 'Sichot HaRan' (The Discourses of Rebbe Nachman), published by Ohr HaNachal, from the holy hands of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a.
