The Divine Inspiration of the Esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
Knew the Whereabouts of the Missing Person After 15 Years

A profound story told by the Gabbai, Natan Salomon, regarding the Ruach HaKodesh of our teacher, the holy tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, before the crowd that arrived at the holy gathering on Thursday night at the 'Nachalei Netzach' Yeshiva.
"In Bat Yam, I merited to witness the Ruach HaKodesh of our teacher, the holy tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. We arrived at the home of a family suffering from tribulations, and the mother there wrote a letter to the Rav shlit"a. She related that the moment they made Aliyah to Israel, their son disappeared from the country, and for 15 years they have had no contact with him. She further shared that the family had been to many rabbis regarding the son, but the matter had not yet progressed."
"In the morning, after the Vatikin prayer with our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a, I handed the Rav the mother's letter, along with another letter from a different family I had met the previous night. The letters were sealed with glue when I presented them to the Rav, and behold, a wonder: without opening the letters, the Rav said regarding the letter from the disabled person, 'For the complete healing of this person, you must go and study with him twice a week for two weeks in the book "Tanna D'bei Eliyahu," and then he will have salvation for his legs'."
"And so the Rav shlit"a added, still without opening the letters, 'Come to me on Motzaei Shabbat and I will tell you where the child who has been missing for 15 years is located.' I arrived on Motzaei Shabbat and the Rav gave me the address in the USA. It turns out that this was a child who had cast off the yoke [of Torah], and therefore was ashamed of his traditional family and fled the country. He is now married to a non-Jewish woman and has five children with her. Although the Rav gave them the address, he qualified his words and told the family that their child does not wish to see them."
"The family, in any case, traveled to meet the lost son, but it happened exactly as Rav Berland said: the son did not want to see them and even called the police on his family."
"For me, this was the first time I witnessed the Ruach HaKodesh of our teacher, the holy tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. How the Rav knows what is written in a letter without reading it, or even opening it. And furthermore, the measured and precise answers of the Rav shlit"a, truly to a hair's breadth."
"The second letter was from a disabled person whose leg muscles would seize up every few hours. Following my study with him, just as Rav Berland shlit"a told us, there was an improvement in his condition, as the relief from the pain increased significantly."
