to the Settlement of Nehora - Photo Gallery

After the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a sat the days of shiva for his brother, the holy Rabbi Yechezkel Berland zt"l, at his home in Jerusalem, the Rav shlit"a traveled on the final day of the shiva to the settlement of Nehora in the south. Rabbi Yechezkel zt"l, the brother of Rav Berland shlit"a, was the rabbi of the settlement of Nehora located in the Lachish region, and even lived there with his family. The Rav arrived in Nehora shortly before seven in the evening and prayed Mincha in the mourning tent together with the massive crowd that arrived to comfort him and the family.
After the Mincha prayer, Rav Berland shlit"a delivered an emotional lesson in honor of his brother's soul, and immediately afterward, they prayed the Arvit prayer with a great multitude and with the Rav's special, gate-opening melody. The masses joined the Rav in the moving prayer melody, and immediately afterward, Rav Berland entered the family home.
