After the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a sat the days of shiva for his brother, the righteous Rabbi Yechezkel Berland zt"l, at his home in Jerusalem, the Rabbi shlit"a traveled on the last day of the shiva to the settlement of Nehora in the south. Rabbi Yechezkel zt"l, the brother of Rabbi Berland shlit"a, was the Rabbi of the Nehora settlement located in the Lachish region, and he also lived there with his family. The Rabbi arrived in Nehora a little before seven in the evening and prayed Mincha in the mourner's tent together with the large public that came to comfort him and the family.
After the Mincha prayer, Rabbi Berland shlit"a delivered an emotional lesson in honor of his brother's neshamah (soul) and immediately afterward, they prayed the Maariv prayer with a large crowd and with the special melody and gate-opener of the Rabbi. Many joined the Rabbi in the moving prayer melody, and immediately afterward, Rabbi Berland entered the family home.
