The Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Eulogizes Shmuel Magen z"l

Rosh Chodesh Adar II 5779 arrived, 'When Adar enters, we increase in simcha (joy)', yet a heavy mourning descended upon the people of Israel following the death of the dear Shmuel Isaac Magen z"l. Baruch Dayan HaEmet. Shmuel z"l, who belonged to the holy community of Breslov 'Shuvu Banim' and was a student at 'Atidcha Education Center', was critically injured in a car accident while on his way to prayer at Rachel's Tomb.

Our teacher, the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, eulogized our dear friend Shmuel Magen zt"l.

"Shmuel was after the tzaddik in this generation he is from the neshamah (soul) of Mashiach ben David with this he atones for all the sins of Israel he is now *protecting* us"

"And it is written in all the books that on the first of Adar the neshamah of Mashiach will be revealed, either it will leave the world or be revealed, Shmuel Magen was the neshamah of Mashiach ben David, and he left the world, and with this he atones for all the children of Israel, and now he is protecting us, he has become the angel Michael as it is written 'A woman of valor is the crown of her husband.'"

"Our Rebbe says in Torah 61 that the neshamah of a tzaddik that ascends to heaven is a chuppah, so now it is a chuppah. He was the most righteous and holy in the generation, such has never been and will never be. He is now *protecting* us in heaven and on earth, he is our advocate."

"And we all need to bow down (accept with love) and know that Hashem leads in this world and in the World to Come."
