The Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Sent a Passover Haggadah with a
Dedication to the Admor Pinto shlit"a

After the Admor Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto was appointed as the Head of the Rabbinical Courts of the Jewish community in Morocco on the Saturday night of Parshat Metzora, at a ceremony held at the Beth-El Synagogue in Casablanca attended by hundreds of people, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, sent him a Passover Haggadah with a special dedication.
The ceremony was attended by senior local government officials who arrived under the directive of the King of Morocco to honor the occasion, during which a special prayer was held in honor of the King of Morocco.
In honor of the inauguration of the Admor Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto shlit"a as the Chief Rabbi of Morocco, his friend, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, sent him a Passover Haggadah with a personal dedication in honor of the upcoming Passover holiday of 5779. It is worth noting that several years ago, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, met with the Admor Rabbi Pinto shlit"a in Morocco.
Text of the dedication:
6 Nissan 5779
On the occasion of the appointment of the Rabbi of all Israel, the Head of the Rabbis of Morocco, the Rishon LeZion of Morocco and of all Israel
I hereby send you my heartfelt wishes on this wonderful appointment, and in the merit of this, may Mashiach ben David come.
With blessings of Torah,
Eliezer Berland
