"The Faith Always Remains"

Tuesday night, Parshat Shemini, Chol HaMoed Pesach 5780, our teacher, the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, in a wonderful lesson from Tzalmon prison and Sefirat HaOmer - five days to the Omer.

"Yesterday was four days to the Omer and today it is already five. Four is the Mochin d'Imma (intellect of the Mother), the Brit (covenant) is the Mochin d'Imma, the lights of electricity are the Mochin d'Imma, 370 lights. Milah (circumcision) is 'Mal', there are seventy faces to the Torah, 70 lights in the name of Y-H. Bilaam drew from the name V-H, the stable, but we draw from Y-H. In the Milah, the name Y-H is revealed, and through this, the seventy lights of the Torah are revealed in the Brit, which is the Mochin d'Imma. The holy Zohar says in Shemot that the Mashiach will be revealed in the land of the Galilee, but first Cheftzibah must come (Zohar Chadash, Shelach Lecha, page 174).
