The Haftarah of the Prophet

Here is the complete daily lesson as delivered by The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, on Tuesday night, the eve of 12 Tishrei, after the Ma’ariv prayer:

“So we read in the Haftarah of the second day of Rosh HaShanah: ‘You will yet adorn yourself with your tambourines, and you will go out in the dance of those who rejoice’ (Yirmiyahu 31:3)—meaning that all day and all night there should be nothing but dancing. This is the Haftarah of the prophet. Just like Serach bat Asher, who would sing all day: ‘Yosef is still alive and is king in Egypt, and he has two sons—Menasheh and Ephraim.’”

To watch the replay of last night’s Ma’ariv prayer with singing and melodies, the lesson begins at 1:11:56:
