The Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Almaliach shlit"a – How Can Such a Huge Community Not Have a Synagogue? Yahrtzeit of Rebbe Natan of Breslov 5782

The Kabbalist, the holy tzaddik Rabbi Shlomo Almaliach shlit"a, with words of awakening before the release and return of our teacher, His Honor the holy gaon tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Rabbi Almaliach said his words at the yahrtzeit gathering of Moharanat of Breslov opposite the walls of Ramla Prison, where our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a was being held. Hundreds of participants arrived at the site, with the point of the tzaddik burning in their hearts, and their entire desire was to unite on this holy day with the living tzaddik.
In his words, Rabbi Almaliach made sure to prepare the ground ahead of the joyous return of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a, and also to cry out the cry of the tens of thousands of students of Rav Berland shlit"a: “It cannot be that such a large community has no suitable place of prayer—help us find such a place.”
“I say: Fortunate is the portion of all those from our people who came here night after night with self-sacrifice—another 7 Tikkun HaKlali, and another seven.”

“We spent Shabbatot in this holy compound—this is what I call it. We merited to spend two Shabbatot here. What pains me most is not to spend a third Shabbat here, but the rabbi’s release is more important than everything. You see the boards—these are the boards of the synagogue... We prayed Mincha here on Erev Shabbat; the Shabbat prayer we prayed near our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a.”
“We did two and a half hours of ‘Lecha Dodi Likrat Kallah’ there—we truly welcomed the face of Shabbat. Shacharit we prayed from 5:00 until 11:30, and we continued with the recitation of 10 Tikkun HaKlali.”
“My masters, there are things I must share with the broader public that are on the agenda. Many ask whether it will be possible to see our teacher Rav Berland after his release. One of the officers told me: I have never seen such demonstrations in my life; all the demonstrations of the Arabs in Ramla are stormy... Here, among the chassidim, they only dance, and sing, and [say] Tikkun HaKlali. This is a new kind of demonstration that you don’t even need to get approval for from the police... They also told me so in Jerusalem in the municipal policing.”
“We are going to set up a huge tent... The goal of all of us now is to protect our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a upon his release, even though in last week’s lesson the rabbi said it is good for him here. He said: They put two Arab informants with me who at first harassed me, but little by little they felt that there is sweetness here. Whoever spent Shabbat here understands what this sweetness is, and then the Arabs became Breslov chassidim. The rabbi said that all the prisoners here became Breslov chassidim more than Shuvu Banim. Baruch Hashem, Rav Berland is doing great things here; when the rabbi leaves here, what darkness will fall here...”
“The goal is to bring the rabbi out to the public—everything depends on his health. Do not forget that the rabbi endured two years of suffering in prisons; no person could withstand this, at such an age and with such abuse. Therefore, I ask in the name of the rabbis of the community, and in the name of our teacher the rabbi: Give the activists strength—they are collapsing under the burden; the burden is heavy and very difficult; the expenses are great.”
“We ask of the entire broader public—the help is also for all the debts and the many expenses; all of us must mobilize for the benefit of our teacher Rav Berland.”
“When Rebbe Natan went to build a synagogue for our people due to the pressure and crowding, he came to a city where there was a very poor Breslov chassid who had only 2 rubles. Rebbe Natan did not want to take from him, because it was all his money, but the poor man insisted. When the building was built, Rebbe Natan said that the kloiz was built in the merit of the two rubles that he gave with self-sacrifice.”
“My masters, even though everyone has many standing orders [monthly commitments], we must show self-sacrifice for the sake of our teacher the rabbi—so that we too will have ‘a bird has found a home,’ so that we will have a house of prayer. We have no prayer hall; we have no synagogue. It is a disgrace that such a huge community is without a synagogue...”
“And behold, the Almighty will not despise; with Hashem's help the time is short and the work is abundant.”
