The Media Should Cry Out
"Success for the Prayer Gathering of the Esteemed Rav Berland shlit"a"

The media is crying out: "A crushing success for the right-wing bloc and the Charedi parties," when the true cry should be - "A crushing victory for the prayer assembly of the Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a." If we were to summarize in two words the power of the public prayer together with the tzaddik, we would say - Kiddush Hashem, nothing less. Our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, knew that the election campaign for Prime Minister was fateful for the people of Israel, for the world of Torah and holiness; therefore, he requested emphatically to hold the prayer assembly near the Cave of the Patriarchs. As has been publicized, our teacher, the Rav, even returned and warned many times about the obligation to participate in the prayer gathering, as it was a matter of literal pikuach nefesh (saving a life), and on election day, he requested to announce - whoever does not go to vote is, in effect, strengthening Lapid and the pursuers of Torah.
B"H, the prayer event was very moving and soul-stirring.
The assembly opened with the recitation of the entire Book of Psalms, while Rabbi Aharon Berkowitz shlit"a sweetened the chapters of the 'Pleasant Singer of Israel' with his voice, and the massive crowd repeated after him. More than ten thousand participants arrived at the area of the Cave of the Patriarchs, having finished reciting the entire book before the arrival of the Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
The arrival of the tzaddik stirred the crowd, as the orchestra began playing holy melodies that accompanied the Rav upon his entry. The recitation of Psalms turned into holy dancing that inflamed the hearts of the public; the Rav danced on high, in front of the seventh step, and the crowd that flooded the entire plaza of the cave joined him. In the air, one could feel how the harsh judgments were being sweetened and the tzaddik was bringing about salvations, as he utilized the merit of the public's prayer and the holy melodies.
Once again, we saw clearly how the assembly brings about salvation.
We have uploaded to the site several conversations with words of encouragement from the students of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, regarding the great virtue of participating in the prayer assembly. Everyone spoke in praise of the power of public prayer, each in their own words, but in all of them, the fundamental point regarding the virtue of prayer returned - "Everyone saw clearly in the past how much the prayer events with Rav Berland shlit"a are effective." All of the prayer assemblies of the Rav came during times of harsh judgments and difficult news. For example, it was during the 'Knife Intifada,' when bloodthirsty murderers walked the city streets every day, brandishing knives at any passerby. The people of Israel were in one of their most difficult hours, and no solution was found for the murderous terrorists. Then, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, stirred the public to hold a prayer assembly that was effective and brought about the sweetening of the judgments.
Just as then, so too today, the general public did not know how to attribute the cessation of the murders to the mass prayer. The media celebrated with a jumble of nonsense and foolishness, and suddenly they forgot that before the assembly was held, no action by the security forces or political efforts had helped. And behold, the tzaddik arrived at the prayer assembly, and suddenly the judgments ceased. Even now, with the success of the election, a massive Kiddush Hashem was made, especially among those close to the tzaddik who know what truly brought about the success of the forces of holiness in the elections. The Blue and White party, who before the elections declared they were going to win by a significant majority and thereby bring an end to the world of Torah, now find that their entire intention was torpedoed. The Charedi parties performed better than expected in the elections.
Fortunate are we, and how good is our portion, that we know the reason for the success of the forces of holiness in the elections. The tzaddik who took the staff of strength of prayer, dancing, and fasting before the elections, and with them ascended before the Creator of the world and pleaded for the fate of the nation.
