Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The film of the moving Hadlakah (lighting) ceremony of the holy community of Breslov Shuvu Banim with our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a
In the film, one can see the thousands who arrived at the moving Lag BaOmer 5782 Hadlakah ceremony in the heart of the city, at the intersection of Shivtei Yisrael and HaChoma HaShlishit streets. In honor of the holy event, the streets were closed to vehicle traffic, and instead, the streets were filled with people celebrating the Hilula in honor of the soul of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai.
The holy community of Breslov Shuvu Banim, which is accustomed to holding a large Hadlakah ceremony every year in honor of the soul of the holy Tanna, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, in Meron, relocated the Hadlakah to Jerusalem.
The Hilula ceremony began with the Maariv prayer and the Counting of the Omer in the prayer plaza of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. Immediately upon the conclusion of the prayer, the crowd moved to the corner of Shivtei Yisrael and HaChoma HaShlishit streets, where the Shuvu Banim orchestra and choir were already playing in front of the stage erected for the holy event.
After the Hadlakah structure was filled with cotton and olive oil, which the crowd of participants poured in honor of the soul of Rabbi Shimon, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived.
With precious light and a holy flame, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, lit the oil bonfire; immediately upon the lighting, the multitude of dancers joined in the singing of the orchestra. Our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, danced in circles on the stage together with his close family and the rabbis of the holy community shlit"a.
During the dancing, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, performed the Upsherin (Chalakah) ceremony for the holy flock of three-year-old children. The proud parents ascended the stage dressed in Shabbat clothing together with their children, where the Rav shlit"a awaited them.
