The Night of 19 Adar II
A Class for the Residents of Kiryat Gat at the Home of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

A special lesson was delivered last night at the home of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for the residents of Kiryat Gat ■ Outreach activity by the Mashpia R' Yehoshua Margalit shlit"a in the southern city ■ A fiery lesson of nearly an hour filled with encouragement
There is not a youth in the city of Kiryat Gat who does not know the Mashpia, the Chassid R' Yehoshua Margalit shlit"a. Rabbi Margalit, a Ger Chassid, arrived years ago in the southern city of Kiryat Gat and found it spiritually desolate. When he understood that the root of the matter begins with the youth, he descended to the people and began to draw the young guys in the city close, sitting with them every evening over hookahs, a barbecue, or pizza, and began to influence the youth with the love of Hashem and the magnitude of the joy found in Judaism, the fulfillment of mitzvot, and drawing close to Hashem and the tzaddikim.
With this, Rabbi Yehoshua Margalit began to draw closer to Breslov Chassidut and to our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. He merited to influence all the young people who had already merited to taste the light of Judaism with the words of the 'flowing brook' of our holy Rebbe, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, according to the path of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, which awakens every Jewish soul wherever it may be, even in the most distant places.
Today, there are hundreds of young people in the city of Kiryat Gat and the surrounding settlements who thirst to hear the words of the 'flowing brook'. A very small portion of those young people—some of whom have already become Breslov Chassidim and servants of Hashem—merited to enter on the night of the 19th of Adar II for a special lesson at the residence of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. He strengthened the participants during a lesson of nearly an hour, with the Mashpia Rabbi Yehoshua Margalit shlit"a sitting at his side.
Our teacher, the Rav, poured forth his holy words on several topics, including: guarding one's eyes, self-nullification before the tzaddik, the virtue of charity; he also spoke of his insights into the story of the Megillah, and he also spoke in the lesson about the greatness of the Maran, the Sar HaTorah, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky zt"l.
After the lesson, which lasted about fifty minutes, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, concluded with a fiery Kaddish, and the strengthened participants left the residence of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, straight to the prayer hall courtyard for Maariv prayers, a lesson, and dancing, as on every day.
