The Precious Fifth-Grade Boys of “Nechamas Tzion” Talmud Torah Take a Test After a Review Campaign on Tractate Beitzah—Inside the Holy Inner Chamber

Review and an Oral Test on Tractate Beitzah ○ A Lesson for the Precious Children in the Home of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
After months of effort, toil, review, and repetition, the fifth-grade boys of “Nechamas Tzion” Talmud Torah merited to “make the blessing over the finished work” and to fulfill what is said: “Let them be sharp in your mouth”—so that if a person asks you, you won’t stammer… rather, you will answer him immediately! In honor of completing the tractate and the great success in the students’ knowledge, these precious children merited to reap the fruits and complete their mastery and review of the tractate with the one who “sows in tears”—namely, The Rav shlit"a, for whom every single child in our holy community is as precious as a son. As mentioned, on Wednesday, the 23rd of Tammuz, the pure children entered “inside the holy inner chamber” and merited to hear words of the living G-d—a shiur delivered for close to forty minutes, touching on many subjects from the hidden treasures of the holy Torah. After the shiur, the precious children brought The Rav shlit"a great joy by demonstrating their extensive knowledge of Tractate Beitzah by heart, through a special melody for the Mishnayos that the teachers composed to help the students review the holy Mishnayos. The Rav shlit"a was deeply moved to see the students’ mastery, and he asked them to repeat the Mishnayos again and again—about four times—using the special melody. Afterwards, The Rav shlit"a gave the children a chart for reviewing the Mishnayos about four times. The Rav shlit"a asked the students to fill out the charts and submit them to him in about two weeks. Such is The Rav shlit"a—like a father who cares for his son’s learning—showing open affection for each and every child in the Shuvu Banim institutions.
