The Pressure in the Land and the World Intensifies
Who Will Be Those Who Place the Crown on the Mashiach?

Who will be those who merit to be in the inner circle of Mashiach and place the crown upon his head? It is customary to think that it will be those who appear honorable and externally successful, but the great masters of Chassidut reveal a different truth.
In the book Tiferet HaYehudi (Ch"T and Stories, letter 6), it is written in the name of the Holy Jew, may his merit protect us, that he said: When our righteous Mashiach comes, all the tzaddikim and leaders of Israel will go out to meet him, together with the chassidim who gathered in their shade and drank from their waters.
And among them will be leaders to whom our righteous Mashiach will say, "Move along, go away from here with your chassidim."
And then the chassidim will approach and weep bitterly, and say, "Our righteous Mashiach, what have we sinned and what have we transgressed? Did we not have complete faith that he was a true tzaddik, so what is your complaint against us!"
And our righteous Mashiach will answer them: A person must pray to the Creator, may He be blessed, all his days that he should merit to connect to a true tzaddik. And the Creator, may He be blessed, will not withhold good from those who walk in innocence, and if it had truly been your desire to connect to a true tzaddik, Hashem, may He be blessed, would have illuminated the truth for you.
And you, because you clung to this man, it was certainly not your true desire to cling to a man of truth - and therefore you too are punished.
Who will be the ones to place the crown on Mashiach's head?
The Holy Jew mentions the connection to the tzaddik in truth and simplicity as the most important condition to be among those who will merit to greet our righteous Mashiach. To such an extent that Mashiach will use harsh words toward those who did not truly want to draw close to the tzaddik, saying to them: "Move along, go away from here with your chassidim."
Thus, it is not surprising to see in our time how the main battle is waged around the attempt to hide and distance the tzaddik from consciousness, to the point that a great struggle is truly needed to persist in faith and connection to him.
And the Holy Jew of Peshischa, the prominent student of the Chozeh of Lublin, was not the only one who revealed which Jews will merit to be among those who greet Mashiach. Rebbe Nachman, may his memory be a blessing, in the story 'The Tale of the Rain', reveals that "Hashem, may He be blessed, will wage the war only with the simple people who say Tehillim with simplicity and innocence, and not with those who walk in wisdom."
And he told a parable about a king who went to hunt animals and was dressed as a simple man, so that it would be easier to hunt. In the middle, suddenly a great rain fell, truly a deluge of water, and all the ministers of the kingdom were scattered because of the rain, etc.
And the king was in great danger and looked for a place to hide until he found a peasant's house. The peasant brought him into his house with honor, dressed him in warm clothes, gave him simple peasant food, lit the winter oven for him, and let him sleep on it so that he would warm up. And his eating and sleeping were so pleasant and sweet that he had never tasted such a pleasant taste, for he was tired and weary, etc.
And the ministers of the kingdom searched for the king until they came to the peasant's house, and they saw that he was sleeping and waited until he woke up, and they wanted the king to return with them to his house. The king said to them, "Since you did not save me and each one scattered to save himself, and only this peasant saved me and with him I tasted such a sweet taste, therefore he will bring me to my house in his wagon, and in these clothes that he dressed me, I will sit on the throne of the kingdom."
And our Rebbe, may his memory be a blessing, concluded on this and said:
In the footsteps of Mashiach there will be a flood [of heresy], not of water but of strange thoughts, and all the high mountains will be covered, and even in the Land of Israel, where there was no flood, only because it descended with force, the waters splashed there too.
And with wisdom they will not be able to give advice, and all the ministers of the kingdom will scatter and the kingdom will not stand on its foundation; it will not hold up, only with the simple people of Israel who say Tehillim with simplicity, etc., and therefore when Mashiach comes, they will place the crown of the kingdom on his head.
According to the words of Rebbe Nachman, the ministers of the kingdom who draw close to the king in order to aggrandize their own honor will be rejected upon the arrival of Mashiach - and specifically the simple Jews who say Tehillim with simplicity, when Mashiach comes, they are the ones who will place the crown of the kingdom on his head.
And suddenly, an amazing testimony was revealed that is making waves in the world, from a Jew named R' Yisrael Meir, who met in the forests of Meron a hidden tzaddik who predicted the Meron disaster before it happened, and also revealed how it would be possible to be saved from the decrees, that they should not come, Heaven forbid.

"I arrived at Lag BaOmer in Meron, as it is known that this time is not simple; it is one of the highest moments, the revelation of the true tzaddik, therefore I had to go to the field to hitbodedut (seclusion), to prepare... In the field, I saw a Jew holding a Tikkun HaKlali and saying it word for word, and from his eyes tears poured like a faucet; I have never seen such a recitation of Tehillim."
"How does one merit to say Tikkun HaKlali like that?"
"I asked how one merits to say such a Tikkun HaKlali with weeping like him?"
"I continued to hitboded in the mountain. After half an hour, I saw him still saying Tikkun HaKlali and crying; apparently, he had said quite a few. After an hour, he was still saying Tikkun HaKlali and crying; one does not see things like this. I hitboded more and asked Hashem to merit to speak with this tzaddik. I asked Hashem to merit to speak with him, and suddenly, after about a quarter of an hour, that person approached me and called me by my name, Yisrael Meir."
"I asked him how he knew my name. He answered that he knows, it is fine; you prayed that you wanted to speak with me, here in Heaven they accepted your prayer. I was moved and asked him what one needs to pray for now in Meron? He answered: 'One needs to pray that Rav Berland will arrive in Meron.'"
"Did he know that you are a chassid of Rav Berland?"
"No, I did not tell him anything; he said it himself! I asked him how he knows Rav Berland? He said that he does not know him personally, but they have a spiritual connection."
"He said that he prays for Rav Berland, and likewise all the hidden tzaddikim pray for him every day. And he added: In Heaven, every day they announce about him that he is the tzaddik of the generation. Every generation has a tzaddik in the aspect of Moshe, and there are other tzaddikim."
"He said: The hidden tzaddikim say the Tikkun HaKlali several times every day for the success of Rav Berland, and if all of the people of Israel would join in the prayers, they could sweeten all the judgments that exist, and prevent endless tears from Israel, because Rav Berland fights above in Heaven with all his strength for the sake of the people of Israel."
"He spoke about the importance of saying at least once the Tikkun HaKlali for Rav Berland, every day, and whoever can should say as much as possible. In Heaven, this is considered one of the most sublime things, those who pray for Rav Berland..."
"The Secret of the Prayer for Mashiach"
"He said that Mashiach is already with us in this world and is performing tremendous actions; meanwhile, it is hidden until the time of revelation arrives. The tzaddikim know who it is and know that Mashiach is acting."
"There is a secret among the hidden tzaddikim, but because we are close to his arrival and Mashiach needs the strength of the people of Israel, therefore it is possible to reveal the secret. There are chapters that the tzaddikim know that David inserted terrible intentions into them, that he intended by this the wars that Mashiach will wage in the world until the revelation of the Geulah. When they are said in the specific order, it gives Mashiach tremendous strength to act as he needs in the world."
"The chapters that the hidden tzaddikim say for the success of Mashiach: 51, 55, 56, 60, 68, 80, 83, 88, 89, 109. And if one intends in prayer to give strength to Mashiach, he receives from this tremendous strength. Because the strength of Mashiach is the spiritual strength that he needs to receive from us, as it is written in Torah 2 in Likutey Moharan that the main weapon of Mashiach is prayer."
