The Program of Rav Ben Lulu on Kol Chai

A listener called in to the program "Hafuch Al Hafuch" on Kol Chai Radio, hosted by Rabbi Moshe Ben Lulu, and shared her perspective on why the coronavirus is in the country. These are her words.

"I want to raise a point that people are not paying attention to; there is a disgrace of a Torah scholar here, and I believe that all the things happening to us are because of this."

"We see many signs in this; Rav Berland has been sitting in prison for over a month."

"Is Rav Berland still in prison? Yes, he is still in prison!"

"The Kabbalist Rabbi Amos Gueta, a great tzaddik, said that the entire coronavirus is because of this. Everyone certainly needs to strengthen themselves in what they need to, but beyond that, to do teshuvah (repentance) for the lashon hara (evil speech) that they have heard."

"Everyone should pray and think about how we reached a situation where Rav Berland has sat in prison for so long."

"I want to mention some signs that show this: on the day they took the Rav to prison, the first Israeli was infected. In the two prisons where Rav Berland was held, out of 62 prisons, the guards were infected. The guards were infected and were there in quarantine and isolation."

"I think everyone needs to do teshuvah (repentance) for the lashon hara they have heard—it is truly a disgrace of a Torah scholar."
