The Rebbe of Berdichev with Fiery Words about the Righteous Rabbi Eliezer
Berland shlit"a

Rabbi Aharon Boymel shlit"a, the Admor of Berditchev of Givat Yaakov, Jerusalem, in a holy, fiery interview with the global Breslov line. "May the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a have long, good years in the merit of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak ben Sarah Shashah (Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev z"ya), the defender of Israel," the Admor begins with blessings for the Rav. "It is a merit in the 'Shuvu Banim' community that students of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, merit to become Admors and Rabbis; we are all students of the Rav."
The merit to be with the tzaddik at celebrations
"I merited to be at the wedding of our friend and companion, Rabbi Binyamin Machluf. I was so happy, and I remembered how I said three years ago that our teacher, Rav Berland, would yet dance with us at weddings and celebrations. Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Salmanovitch from Bnei Brak said to me, 'Rabbi Boymel, your blessing has been fulfilled. We merited to be at the wedding of Machluf, what joy, what purity, truly the Holy Temple in its glory. To see the precious children with their curled sidelocks and white yarmulkes."
Rav, you are the defender of Israel
"We will merit, with Hashem's help, to be nullified to our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. At the wedding, the groom, Binyamin Machluf, said to our teacher the Rav, 'Here is Aharon Boymel, the Admor of Berditchev.' The Rav said to me, 'Bless me.' I replied, 'Rav, you need to bless me; you are the defender of Israel, you are the Moshe Rabbeinu of the generation.' Our teacher, Rav Berland, was so happy; he kissed me and danced with me. Thank Hashem that I merited such closeness with the tzaddik."
The tzaddikim are with us even today
"People think that the Rav of Berditchev was 200 years ago, and likewise the Baal Shem Tov and Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, but in truth, the Rebbe is with us today, and likewise the Baal Shem Tov and R' Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the defender of Israel, are with us in this generation. We need R' Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev today, not 200 years ago."
R' Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev would tell me, 'Run after Rav Berland'
"Hashem preserve us, I haven't reached our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, for a year. At the wedding, I said to myself, 'How many diamonds, how many days of Torah and prayer with the tzaddik I have missed.' It pained me; I said to myself, 'If I were to go to R' Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, he would tell me, run after Rav Berland, run.'"
After I enter to see Rav Berland, I melt
"Today, as an Admor, I have an open door to all the great Admors in the land and the world; I enter to see all the great ones of Israel, but after I enter to see our teacher, Rav Berland, I melt. I am with all the great tzaddikim of the world, with the 36 hidden tzaddikim, but after I enter to see Rav Berland, I melt; I become all water. I tell myself that I want to take off all my clothes and be a student of Rav Berland. To put on the simplest Breslov hat, some old gartel, to leave everything and be a student of Rav Berland 24 hours a day."
People go crazy when they understand who Rav Berland is
"I currently give classes in yeshivas and kollels throughout the country; I tell them stories about our teacher, Rav Berland. People go crazy when they understand who the tzaddik is that we have in the generation. Berditchev has synagogues and a yeshiva everywhere: in Bnei Brak, in Safed, and there is one in Givat Ze'ev, Jerusalem."
In the month of Adar, one sees the salvation immediately
"The Kabbalists say regarding the verse, 'When Adar enters, we increase in joy,' we increase in joy because in Adar, one sees the salvation immediately. All year long, a person must work and act, but in Adar, in one second, 'Whoever extends a hand, they give to him.' A person prays and says, 'Master of the World, help me, I need such and such,' he receives it immediately and becomes joyful. Our teacher, Rav Berland, always says, 'Adar' is an acronym for 'revavot alfei dolars' (tens of thousands of thousands of dollars). May Hashem bestow upon all of Israel abundance, blessing, and great wealth with joy. May we merit to receive our righteous Mashiach with the Rav standing at our head."
