The Sanctuary of Melody — The Daily Strengthening from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The daily strengthening from The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a — “The Baal Shem Tov and Rebbe Nachman opened the Sanctuary of Melody”
Tuesday, 29 Sivan 5782 — “The non-Jewish musicians were geniuses, but they did not do it for the sake of Heaven, therefore they died in disgrace”—these are his holy words:
Every second—songs. Moshe built the Beis HaMikdash only so that songs would be sung. The purpose of the Mikdash—its main point—is the melodies.
All the wars (in the world) were about ruling over melodies. Idolaters, the nations of the world—everything is drawn after the melodies.
All day long (the non-Jew) plays the violin; all day he plays Mozart, Beethoven, Bach. About Mozart it is written that he did not even have a burial—if a person does not go according to the Torah, in the end they do not know where he is buried.
Mozart had no money for burial—he did not have a single coin, he had nothing… He was alone; he did not marry; he passed away at age 36. There was barely a minyan at his funeral. He had no coin to pay; they buried him among the poor, among people found in the streets. They buried him just somewhere in some corner there—no one knows where.
In the second stage of his work, Mozart began composing opera melodies and the like. They were able to compose a melody for 20 instruments all at once—this was an awesome mind. Rebbe Nachman opened all the gates of melody.
Now (at the time this lesson was delivered, during the days of Sefiras HaOmer) it is Netzach sheb’Netzach. Rebbe Nachman opened all the gates of melody—the Sanctuary of Melody.
Everything began with the Baal Shem Tov. The Baal Shem Tov and Rebbe Nachman are the ones who discovered the Sanctuary of Melody. They were able to compose a composition in which you would hear 20 instruments all at once—a composition of some 20 hours: one song to Hashem.
They would play for Hashem. A person comes only to thank Hashem. The whole purpose is to say Sefiras HaOmer with melodies—to say “Lamenatze’ach b’neginot” seven times with the Menorah, like King David. With this David would win all the wars: “Lamenatze’ach b’neginot,” and all the siddurim are in the form of the Menorah.
And after that we have Ana B’Koach: to say Ana B’Koach three times (with a melody), and afterward (through the melody) abundant shefa will be drawn down—we repair what was damaged from the sin of Adam HaRishon.
For 930 years Adam HaRishon did nothing, so we must atone for his 930 years.
