'The Transmitted Path' — The Great Elders of Breslov
Faithful Bearers of the Tradition, in a Memory-Filled Meeting with Rabbi Berland shlit"a, in Honor of the Yahrzeit of the Leader of Our Chaburah

A Historic Meeting Between the Great Elders of Breslov Together with Our Teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a ○ On the Occasion of the Yoma d'Hillula of Our Teacher, Rav R' Levi Yitzchak Bender zatzukl"l ○ Previously Unpublished Conversations, Stories from the Years of Drawing Near, and the True Path of Breslov
A historic meeting was held on the 33rd yoma d'hillula of the elder of our community and leader of our fellowship, the one who established the yoke of Breslov in the last generation and transmitter of the tradition - that tzaddik and holy one, our teacher, Rav R' Levi Yitzchak Bender zia"a.
The meeting was held in the home of the one who was the greatest of R' Levi Yitzchak's students and who transmits the true path of Breslov in our generation, our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The meeting was attended by the transmitters of the tradition and the mashpi'im (influencers) of Anash, the Geonim: Harav R' Yehoshua Dov Rubenstein shlit"a, Harav R' Gavriel Grossman shlit"a, and Harav R' Yitzchak Vitzhandler shlit"a. At the meeting, they shared memories and traditions, stories and chizuk (strengthening), as well as conversations that have not yet been published from the one who transmitted and revived the Breslov Chassidut after the Holocaust, just as he received from his Rebbe - R' Avraham ben R' Nachman zia"a - our teacher, Rav R' Levi Yitzchak zatzuk"l.
Our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, spoke about his years of drawing near to Breslov and how he spent nights as days in search of the true path in Breslov until he reached his rest and inheritance, at the feet of R' Levi Yitzchak zatzuk"l, where he sat and did not let go until he merited to know the da'at (wisdom) of our holy Rebbe and the true path of Breslov. He described how our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, would sit with R' Levi Yitzchak for nights and days, drinking in his words with thirst; every word, every story, every chizuk or awakening, everything was engraved upon the tablet of his heart, so that he could transmit it to the final generation - our own generation.
Likewise, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, spoke of the wondrous service of R' Levi Yitzchak, his precise guarding of time, his great Torah study, and wondrous stories of the days of 'Gan Eden' in which R' Levi Yitzchak drank in the true path of Breslov with thirst from his Rebbe, R' Avraham Chazan ben R' Nachman of Tulchin—words that no ear has ever heard before.
Adding to this, the participants in the meeting illuminated and commented: the transmitter of the tradition, Rav Yehoshua Dov Rubenstein, who added stories with good taste and wisdom; Harav R' Gavriel Grossman, who added from the conversations and insights regarding the times; and the mashpia, Rav Yitzchak Vitzhandler, who merited to serve R' Levi Yitzchak as 'a youth who would not depart from the tent...' and merited to sit under his vine and gather every word in order to transmit the conversations and stories to future generations.
G-d willing, later this week, the full, special, and historic meeting will be uploaded. Follow the articles and updates on the homepage of the "Shuvu Banim" website.
