The True Tzaddik Bestows All Goodness Upon the World
But People Do Not Want to Believe in Him - The Words of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The reality of the world is changing, and one does not need to be a great genius to understand this. Our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, has taken upon himself such suffering that no human being can comprehend with their intellect—all to bring the Geulah (Redemption) with mercy, so that no Jew will be harmed and that one more soul will enter the sack of Rebbe Nachman. What can we do so as not to be, Heaven forbid, among those who reject and hinder the process of revelation? Here are the holy words of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, from the 27th of Cheshvan 5766, which point to what Hashem desires from us in every generation, and especially in this fateful time.
"Reb Noson explains that the true tzaddik can bestow all the abundance in the world; he bestows all the wealth, he bestows the Clouds of Glory, he bestows everything—the Ramban says that no one wants to believe in this true tzaddik. The Ramban brings here that when Moshe Rabbeinu arrived, no one wanted to believe in him—no one wanted to believe in Moshe Rabbeinu, no one wanted to believe in the tzaddik."
"It is written that Moshe said: 'But they will not believe me.' No one wanted to believe in Moshe. Why? Because they said to him, 'Who are you, anyway? Can you perform wonders? Can you perform signs? Will you be able to take us out of Egypt? How is that possible?' They began to ask him, to investigate him."
"Reb Boruch of Medzhybizh asked the Rebbe what level he had reached, if he had reached the level of the Baal Shem Tov. Rebbe Nachman answered: 'When he reached the level of the Baal Shem Tov at age 13, he pushed him down all the stairs.'"
"'Because you are greater than the Patriarchs, therefore Pharaoh did not listen to him.' It says that if they had believed in Moshe immediately—if the people of Israel had believed in Moshe, they would have left Egypt immediately, they would not have made the Golden Calf, and the Holy Temple would have been built. And there would have been the complete Geulah (Redemption). And there would have been the resurrection of the dead. Because everything that Hashem wants, Hashem wants in every generation, so we are prepared for the resurrection of the dead."
"In every generation, Mashiach ben David must come; every generation, every generation is worthy of the Geulah (Redemption)—the Ramban says, it all depends on belief in Moshe—in the Moshe of that generation, in the tzaddik of that generation. The tzaddik who can bring the Geulah (Redemption) to everyone, to reveal the treasures to everyone, to reveal to everyone that they are actually sitting on a treasure."
"The true tzaddik can bring each and every person to their true tikkun (rectification), and this is what is written in the Midrash Rabbah, that King Hezekiah was supposed to be Mashiach. King Hezekiah had already brought Egypt to teshuvah (repentance), he brought the entire nation to teshuvah (repentance). It is written that all the Egyptians did teshuvah (repentance) and began to swear in the name of Hashem; everyone swore in the name of Hashem. King Hezekiah showed the Egyptians, showed Babylon such miracles and wonders that everyone did teshuvah (repentance), everyone came to visit the Holy Temple."
