"The waters have reached the soul" (the situation has become unbearable). It has already been more than two months that our Teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, has been sitting in a detention cell, yet the world continues as usual. We are becoming accustomed to this terrible reality and continuing with our lives as if it were just another occurrence. "The Tzaddik is lost and no one takes it to heart"—one cannot bury one's head in the sand and say, "This does not concern me." The Rav shlit"a is there for our sake, so that the Geulah (Redemption) may arrive with mercy and no harm will befall anyone. Beyond this, the Tzaddik is there, and we must have him with us, engaging in our tikkun (rectification) from here.

On the 17th of Sivan 5776, with Hashem's help, a prayer gathering will be held for the success of the Rav shlit"a at the Western Wall, the remnant of our Holy Temple. Let no one be absent; we must gather together and shake the worlds. On High, they are waiting to see that this matter is truly in our hearts, that we have not fallen asleep while the Tzaddik engages in self-sacrifice (mesirus nefesh) for us.
