The Wondrous Rescue Story of the Avreich Who Was Stabbed 40 Times / The Story of the Miracle in the Terror Attack

The miraculous rescue story of the avreich (young Torah scholar) Gavriel Lavi, who was stabbed 40 times in the Old City and miraculously recovered in the merit of a Pidyon Nefesh (redemption of the soul) and the blessing of Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
The Wondrous Rescue Story of the Avreich Who Was Stabbed 40 Times
We are witnessing miracles, wonders, and the overturning of the laws of nature before the eyes of the entire world. As it is written: "Before all your people I will do marvels," and also, "And all the nations of the earth shall see that the name of Hashem is called upon you." Hashem, may He be blessed, does and will do all deeds, and there is none besides Him. Yet, at the same time, we tangibly see the power of the true tzaddik, His faithful servant who sacrifices his soul at every moment for the sanctification of His blessed Name. The holy Sages have already said: "Who rules over Me? The tzaddik, for I decree a decree and he nullifies it."
A Critical Injury in the Old City
Everyone recently witnessed the immense power of the tzaddik in the shocking case of the dear avreich, Rabbi Gavriel Lavi, may his light shine, a student of our holy yeshiva in the Old City. A few weeks ago, he was severely stabbed, suffering no less than forty stab wounds, may Hashem protect us.
His medical condition was immediately defined as fatal, which is the most severe and critical state, Heaven spare us. The doctors fought for his life, and the anxiety among his family and friends was immense. It was clear to everyone that only an open miracle could save the life of this *avreich*.
The Power of the Pidyon Nefesh
Immediately, those close to him passed the name of the wounded man to Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The Rav heard the severity of the situation and immediately ruled that a Pidyon Nefesh (redemption of the soul) of twenty thousand shekels must be brought on his behalf.
Hashem, may He be blessed, in His abundant mercy and loving-kindness, showed every living being that He is the Ruler and the Creator. He alone did, does, and will do all deeds, and there is absolutely no nature in the world at all. Whatever the *tzaddik* decrees is fulfilled, because this is the will of Hashem, may He be blessed. This is how the Creator established the order of the world—that the tzaddik rules through the fear of God.
Miraculously and beyond all medical logic, after only a few weeks, the avreich had already returned home. Today, he is gaining strength and healing, thank God, and it is all in the merit of the power of the tzaddik. May Hashem, may He be blessed, send him a complete healing speedily, Amen.
The Story of the Miracle in the Terror Attack: The Pidyon That Raised Up the Wounded Avreich and Astounded the Media
Immediately after the reports of the terrible terror attack were heard, media outlets from all over the world gathered. As is the way of journalists, everyone wanted to publish exactly what happened and how events unfolded. Initially, the reports were unbearable, and they rushed to publish the severe and critical condition of one of the wounded, may Hashem protect us.
A Medical Miracle Against All Odds
But then the wonderful news arrived of a sudden change in the wounded man's condition. In complete contradiction to all medical prognoses, and contrary to all human intellect and understanding, the dear avreich woke up. Thank God, he even began to speak on his own, to the astonishment of everyone around him.
Following this amazing development, many journalists gathered around his bed once again. They came to see the great wonder with their own eyes, for there was absolutely no way to explain this rapid recovery according to the laws of nature and medicine. When they interviewed him, the avreich merited to sanctify the Name of Heaven in public.
Sanctifying Hashem's Name Before the Cameras
The avreich told the journalists the entire sequence of events in great detail. He described to them the cries that his family members cried out to Hashem, may He be blessed, and revealed the true turning point: "We transferred a *Pidyon Nefesh* (redemption of the soul) into the hands of the holy *tzaddik*, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a."
Hearing these words, everyone stood astounded. The journalists were forced to admit that there is a Master to the universe, and all the falsehood and heresy that the world is immersed in began to crumble in the face of this awesome revelation. They were compelled to recognize the immense power and greatness of the true tzaddik. Even though there are those who try to slander and humiliate him, reality proved beyond any doubt that "Truth shall spring forth from the earth."
The Miracle Story of the Avreich: Why Is the Secular Media Hiding the Truth?
An Open Miracle Against Media Silencing
Recently, we have witnessed an amazing phenomenon that illustrates the power of the tzaddik. An avreich (young Torah scholar) who experienced a massive and open miracle is telling everyone publicly that all the miracles that happened to him were solely through the pidyon (redemption) he gave to the holy tzaddik, Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The noise surrounding this miracle is echoing throughout the entire world, and many are being strengthened by the simple and sincere faith of this avreich.
On the other hand, most newspapers and media outlets, which often act as emissaries of the evil inclination, have reached a dead end. It is very difficult for them to admit the truth. Those same entities, who constantly never stop shaming, insulting, and reviling the tzaddik all over the world, are now discovering that the truth is slapping them in the face. They stand bewildered in the face of the publication of the miracle and ask themselves: "What do we do now?"
The Truth Will Prevail and Falsehood Will Be Nullified
Despite the clear proofs, falsehood tries to fight until the last drop of blood. In a spirit of audacity and without any shame, those media outlets are making a mockery and a laughingstock of themselves. They did indeed publish the amazing miracle story of the avreich, but maliciously omitted the name of the holy tzaddik shlit"a, simply because the truth does not find favor in their eyes.
But despite all the attempts to conceal and hide, it is said: "He who sits in heaven will laugh, Hashem will mock them." The truth will always prevail, and the end of all opponents of the truth is to be shamed and disgraced. Ultimately, out of all the concealments, His blessed Name will be magnified and sanctified before the eyes of all living things, and everyone will recognize the greatness of the tzaddik, Amen.
