The Words of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a at the Giving of the Torah Rally: "Today is the Revelation of Moshe Rabbeinu, Gog and Magog will be in Cheshvan"

Following the rally of thousands in Hebron with our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), the Rav delivered a short but profoundly significant lesson. These are his holy words:

"Today is the 4th of Sivan. In the Zohar Chadash (Parshas Balak), it is written that a doe will arrive. There was a doe here earlier, and she reached the cave of Moshe Rabbeinu (Moses our Teacher). The cave will split open."

"Today, the 4th of Sivan, is the revelation of Moshe Rabbeinu. Gog and Magog (the final war) will take place in the month of Cheshvan. All the nations will gather against Israel, and Moshe will sound a great Shofar (ram's horn). The entire Torah will be heard from one end of the world to the other. Then all the nations of the world will come; they will arrive in ships."

"It is written in the Zohar (at the end of Parshas Ki Savo) that the entire sea will be filled with ships, and then the sea will split and open up. In the month of Cheshvan, the wars will reach their peak—the 4th of Sivan marks the beginning—and in the month of Cheshvan, the Third Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) will be built. One must never give up; everyone should say, 'It is forbidden to give up,' and then the House that will never be destroyed will be built."
