As a continuation of the campaign conducted for the young men of our holy community to sign a pledge of abstinence from technological devices, approximately 50 Chassidic yeshiva students who are among the students of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a (may he live long and good days), entered to sign a membership certificate in which they take upon themselves to abstain from technological devices in the coming year. On Thursday, the 22nd of Shevat, Parshas Mishpatim, the Chassidic yeshiva students signed in the inner sanctum with our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, as the Rav added his signature to the certificate. After the conclusion of the signings, near the hour of Chatzos (midnight), news broke of the great miracle regarding the attempted bombing attack on buses in Gush Dan. Our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, declared without hesitation that it is certain that the spiritual overcoming of the young men in signing the abstinence pledge prevented the terrible attack, which could have ended in a bloodbath, r"l (may Hashem have mercy).
