"There Are No Wicked People in Israel"
The Daily Strengthening of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The daily chizuk of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, "There are no wicked people in Israel, we only need to learn the Holy Tongue"
Thursday, 22 Shevat 5785 – These are his holy words:
The people of Israel are a golden menorah - everyone, for there are no wicked people in Israel, there is no such thing as a wicked person.
It is only some sort of shell; even the most wicked person will perform teshuvah (repentance) in a second.
So the people of Israel are all called a golden menorah - everyone.

The holy words of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, compel us to return to the historic event where our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, spoke at the Yad Eliyahu stadium together with Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef zya"a, an event that will be remembered for generations.
Gentlemen, you should know that there are no wicked people in Israel.
It only seems that way for a moment, for a second, for a thousandth of a second - one smile, one kind word, and he returns in teshuvah (repentance), and he will yet be more of a tzaddik than us.
You will see that he will yet ascend and be a greater tzaddik than all of us.
There are no wicked people among the people of Israel; everyone is searching for the path, everyone wants to discover the path.
From every single Jew, wonderful melodies burst forth. Rebbe Nachman of Breslov says in Torah 282: There are no wicked people among the people of Israel; from every Jew, wonderful melodies emerge.
Every Jew is a wonderful diamond, every Jew is a pearl; we just need to lift off the bit of sand. We need to polish it a little, to rub it a little.
And then we see a pearl shining with precious light.
