"They Opposed Moshe Rabbeinu, But All Believe in Him After He Passed"
Rav Arush shlit"a Speaks Before 36 Tzaddikim

A rare and special meeting of hidden tzaddikim at the seudah of Moshe Rabbeinu, peace be upon him. The seudah was attended by the Riz"l, Chacham Avraham Chai zt"l, and others, and it took place in the year 5760 at the residence of the leader of the 36 tzaddikim at the time, Rabbi Yehuda Zev Leibowitz zt"l.
At the seudah, they honored the gaon and tzaddik, Rav Shalom Arush shlit"a, head of the Chut Shel Chessed institutions, to speak before the tzaddikim, and he delivered a lesson he heard from his teacher, the gaon and tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
"There is a direct connection between Purim and the hillula of Moshe Rabbeinu. The first war of Amalek against Israel was in the time of Moshe Rabbeinu, when the people of Israel had doubts in their faith - and Israel only defeated Amalek in the merit of Moshe Rabbeinu. As it is written in Masechet Rosh Hashanah, 'And his hands were faith until the sun set' (Exodus 17:12), Moshe would raise his hands in prayer. The heart of all the people of Israel was drawn to the prayer and faith of Moshe Rabbeinu, and that is how they defeated Amalek - and from here we see that the power of faith of the people of Israel comes from Moshe Rabbeinu."
"Therefore, Haman the wicked, who wanted to overcome the enemies of Israel (a euphemism), saw that in Adar, Moshe Rabbeinu passed away, and there was no one to overcome him, to overcome the kelipah (shell) of Amalek, the kelipah of heresy."
"Rebbe Nachman of Breslov explains that, on the contrary, the tzaddik who has passed away has more power than when he was in this world, because with all his holiness, the body still limited him, but when he passes away, all his greatness and splendor are revealed."
"And Rebbe Nachman further says that Haman did not know that Mordechai and Esther were the aspect of the tzaddik of the generation, the aspect of the Moshe Rabbeinu of the generation, 'the expansion of Moshe in every generation' (Tikkun 69), that Moshe Rabbeinu is present in every single generation."
"Mordechai and Esther had the power of Moshe Rabbeinu to subdue the kelipah of Haman-Amalek, the kelipah of heresy. Moshe Rabbeinu is a notrikon (acronym) for 'what was is what will be'; just as he redeemed us from Egypt, so he redeems us every single day. For the Geulah is the da'at (knowledge) that a person receives, as it is written, 'For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Hashem as the waters cover the sea' (Isaiah 11:9)."
"Almost all of the people of Israel disputed Moshe Rabbeinu, they complained about him all the time, they blamed him for all their shortcomings; yet, they continued to believe in Moshe Rabbeinu after he passed away."
"So it was with all the greatest tzaddikim - when they lived in the world, most of the people of Israel disputed them; only after they passed away did most of the people of Israel believe in them."
"On the contrary, the expansion and the da'at of Moshe Rabbeinu only grows from day to day. Everything that is renewed today and will be in the future was already included in Moshe Rabbeinu, who possessed the entire Torah. Rebbe Nachman writes that a person in the hand of the tzaddik is like a pen in the hand of the scribe; if he happens to innovate, he should know that he is like a pen in the hand of the scribe - all the Torah comes from the tzaddik. The tzaddik is the brain from which all the intellect of the people of Israel is drawn. We are like a pen; what does the pen have to be proud of?"
After Rav Arush finished his holy words, as he received them from our teacher, the gaon and tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, the gaon and tzaddik, Rabbi Avraham Chai zt"l, began to speak. These are his holy words.
"The Geulah is like a wedding and it is like Shabbat; it requires much, much preparation. It is impossible to have a wedding without much, much preparation; we are not yet ready..."
