Through Dancing You Can Read the Ten Commandments! • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the full daily lesson, as delivered by The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, on Thursday night, the eve of 17 Av, Parshas Eikev, after the Ma’ariv prayer:
“Since after Tisha B’Av we merited to read the Aseres HaDibros—the parshah of Va’eschanan is the Aseres HaDibros—because immediately after Tisha B’Av we merit the Aseres HaDibros. Rebbe Nosson explains that this corresponds to the ten kinds of melody, for through dancing, clapping hands, and circle-dances, it is possible to ‘read’ all of the Aseres HaDibros. Therefore, in the next Haftarah we read: ‘And I will make your windows of kadkod’ (Yeshayahu 54:12)—meaning that all of Yerushalayim will be built from diamonds and pearls.”
To watch the replay of last night’s Ma’ariv prayer with singing and nigunim—the lesson begins at 34:54
