To Uphold the Children of the Sages of Israel • The Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Needs Prayers for a Complete Recovery

This coming Shabbos, Parshas Shemini, the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a will not be participating in the Shabbos prayers in our Beis Midrash, due to his medical condition which requires rest—please increase your prayers for the complete recovery of The Rav, Eliezer ben Atia Berland shlit"a, among the sick of Israel!
Below is an update delivered from the home of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, by the gabbai, R’ Dov Zucker, may he be blessed with long life, on Erev Shabbos Kodesh:
Baruch Hashem, the Rav shlit"a returned home today (Friday) before midday to rest. After yesterday afternoon, blood test results arrived showing that his health condition required treatment and monitoring in the hospital; therefore, over the last 24 hours he remained in the hospital in order to stabilize his vital indicators. With Hashem’s help, the indicators stabilized, and after the doctors’ approval—at the request of The Rav shlit"a—he returned home for Shabbos Kodesh. However, he will not be going out to the public Shabbos prayers, because he needs a great deal of rest, especially since on the night of bedikas chametz he underwent a minor procedure to replace a pacemaker. And because he has given over his life for the sake of the public—going out for each and every prayer and not even missing the mitzvah of aliyah laregel—this exertion led to an increase in his indicators and to the current situation. This is the place to awaken the public to continue praying constantly for the Rav shlit"a—both during “Refo’einu” and by saying three recitations of The Tikkun HaKlali, as the Rav shlit"a instructed—so that we will merit that he remain with us healthy and whole until the coming of the true Redeemer, speedily in our days, Amen.
Below are the prayer times in our Beis Midrash for Shabbos Parshas Shemini:
Also, with Hashem’s help, this coming Sunday there will be a prayer gathering for the complete recovery of The Rav, Eliezer ben Atia Berland shlit"a, at the remnant of our Beis HaMikdash, at 17:00 in the afternoon.
And He—Almighty G-d—will not despise the prayer of the many!!
