Today Is Forty Days of the Omer • The Omer-Counting Text and a Prayer from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Hod Sheb’Yesod

The Order of the Omer-Counting Text (Sefard):

For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Shechinah, with awe and with love—to unify the Name Y-H with V-H in a complete unification, in the name of all Israel. I am hereby ready and prepared to fulfill the positive mitzvah of counting the Omer, as it is written in the Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbos you shall count fifty days, and you shall bring a new offering to Hashem.” And may the pleasantness of Hashem our God be upon us; establish for us the work of our hands—establish the work of our hands.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God, King of the universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.
Today is forty days, which are five weeks and five days of the Omer
For the conductor, with melodies—a psalm, a song: May God be gracious to us and bless us; may He shine His face upon us, Selah. That Your way be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. Nations will rejoice and sing, for You will judge peoples with fairness, and guide nations on earth, Selah. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.Ana B’Koach, with the greatness of Your right hand, release what is bound. Accept the songful prayer of Your people; strengthen us, purify us, Awesome One. Please, Mighty One—guard, like the apple of the eye, those who seek Your Oneness. Bless them, purify them; with the compassion of Your righteousness, always repay them. Strong and Holy One, in Your abundant goodness, lead Your congregation. Unique and Exalted One, turn to Your people, those who remember Your holiness. Blessed is the Name of the glory of His kingship forever and ever.
Master of the universe, You commanded us through Moshe Your servant to count the Omer, in order to purify us from our husks and from our impurities, as You wrote in Your Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbos you shall count fifty days”—so that the souls of Your people Israel be purified from their defilement. Therefore, may it be Your will, Hashem our God and God of our fathers, that in the merit of the Omer-counting that I counted today, what I damaged in the sefirah Hod Sheb’Yesod be repaired; and may I be purified and sanctified with the holiness from Above. Through this, may abundant shefa be drawn into all the worlds—repairing our souls, our spirits, and our neshamas from every dross and blemish; purifying us and sanctifying us with Your supernal holiness. Amen, Selah.

Before you is a prayer that the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a wrote for Hod Sheb’Yesod, for reading and downloading:

Master of the universe, Almighty—before Whom no plan is impossible—now, in the counting of Hod Sheb’Yesod, in which the sefirah of Yesod bestows to all the foundations and to all the Sefiros, in the secret of EMeSh—air, water, fire—which are the three central יסודות (foundational elements) from which all the Sefiros receive their influence. Therefore, please, Hashem our God and God of our fathers: through this counting, which is Hod Sheb’Yesod, may we merit to draw and bestow a רוח חיים (spirit of life) into all the Sefiros. And through this counting that we counted today, may everything I damaged in all the Sefiros be repaired—from the sin of Adam HaRishon until now. And therefore Nachshon ben Aminadav brought “one silver bowl, its weight one hundred and thirty,” in order to atone for Adam HaRishon for all his years, which together were 930 years. So too, may we merit on this holy and awe-inspiring day to draw down the shefa from Mocha Stima’ah (the Hidden Mind), from which the light is drawn to all the great luminaries—“for all the great awe, and for all the strong hand” that Moshe Rabbeinu drew down for all of Israel, and for all generations.
