Today is the Twenty-Third Day of the Omer • The Sefirat HaOmer Liturgy and a Prayer from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Gevurah within Netzach

The Order of Sefirat HaOmer (Counting of the Omer):

For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, Blessed be He, and His Shechinah (Divine Presence), in awe and love, to unify the Name Yud-Kei with Vav-Kei in perfect unity, in the name of all Israel. Behold, I am ready and prepared to fulfill the positive commandment of Sefirat HaOmer (counting of the Omer), as it is written in the Torah: "And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the Omer of the wave offering; seven complete weeks shall they be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbat shall you count fifty days, and you shall offer a new meal offering to Hashem." May the pleasantness of Hashem our G-d be upon us, and may He establish the work of our hands for us; may He establish the work of our hands.

Blessed are You, Hashem our G-d, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is twenty-three days, which are three weeks and two days of the Omer.

For the conductor, with instrumental music, a psalm, a song. May G-d be gracious to us and bless us, may He cause His face to shine upon us, Selah. To know Your way on earth, Your salvation among all nations. The peoples will thank You, O G-d, all the peoples will thank You. Nations will rejoice and sing for joy, for You will judge the peoples justly and lead the nations on earth, Selah. The peoples will thank You, O G-d, all the peoples will thank You. The earth has yielded its harvest, G-d, our G-d, will bless us. G-d will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.
We beg You, with the strength of Your right hand's greatness, untie the bundled sins. Accept the prayer of Your people; strengthen us, purify us, O Awesome One. Please, O Mighty One, those who seek Your unity, guard them like the pupil of an eye. Bless them, purify them, may the mercy of Your righteousness always reward them. Powerful Holy One, in Your abundant goodness, lead Your congregation. Unique and Exalted One, turn to Your people, those who remember Your holiness. Blessed be the name of His glorious kingdom forever and ever.
Master of the Universe, You commanded us through Moses Your servant to count Sefirat HaOmer, in order to purify us from our klipahs (evil shells) and our impurities, as You wrote in Your Torah: "And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the Omer of the wave offering; seven complete weeks shall they be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbat shall you count fifty days," so that the souls of Your people Israel may be purified from their filth. And so, may it be Your will, Hashem our G-d and G-d of our fathers, that in the merit of the Sefirat HaOmer that I counted today, may that which I have blemished in the Sefirah (Divine attribute) of Gevurah within Netzach (Strength within Endurance) be rectified, and may I be purified and sanctified with the holiness of Above. Through this, may an abundant flow of blessing be bestowed upon all the worlds, to rectify our Nefesh, Ruach, and Neshamah (levels of the soul) from every dross and blemish, and to purify us and sanctify us with Your supernal holiness, Amen Selah.

Before you is a prayer written by the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Gevurah within Netzach, for reading and downloading:

Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, grant me the merit through the counting of Gevurah within Netzach (Strength within Endurance) to be brave and strong for His service, may He be blessed. May I always rise early in the morning, no later than 5:00 AM. And may the promise of Rehoboam be fulfilled, when he asked the youths and they said to him, "My father disciplined the people with whips, but you will discipline them with scorpions," for the essence of Gevurah within Netzach is to stand in the trial of the "scorpions" (harsh trials). As it is written in the first section of the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law), "that he should strengthen himself like a lion to rise early in the morning for the service of his Creator, for a person's sitting when he is with the members of his household is not like his sitting in the assembly and company of the King—how much more so before the King of kings, the Holy One, Blessed be He." And may I merit to be like Samson, who, when Delilah said to him, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson," he snapped the bowstrings as a strand of flax snaps when it touches fire, and his strength remained unknown, and the land was quiet for 20 years. So may You grant me merit, Hashem Yisbarach, to merit through my prayers to bring quiet and tranquility to all the People of Israel. May every single man merit to sit in tranquility under his vine and under his fig tree, as in the days of Samson, who brought down the house upon everyone with 3,000 men and women who were on the edge of the roof, and even more so the tens of thousands who were inside the house and within the roof.
