Today One Tzaddik is Needed – The Words of Rabbi Berland shlit"a

On Thursday of Parshas Vayetzei, 7 Kislev 5780 (2019), our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, delivered a lesson after the prayer service. These are his holy words.

"It is written regarding Sodom in Parshas Vayera that today one tzaddik (righteous person) is enough. Back then, ten were needed, but there weren't ten; there were only nine. After that, there was Yocheved, and after that, there was the Holy Shechinah (Divine Presence)."

"In any case, there must be seventy, as 'with seventy souls they descended to Egypt'."
