Uniting in Your Holy Name • Hundreds of members of the Breslov-Shuvu Banim community gathered to salute and declare: I am connected!

On Tuesday, the eve of the 23rd of Kislev, an impressive gathering took place as preparation for the days of Chanukah, within the framework of the 'Hisachdus HaAvreichim' (Union of Young Married Scholars) by the Nechamat Zion-Breslov Torah and Educational Institutions.

Rabbi Nachman Edri, may his light shine, director of the Chochma V'Daat yeshivas, moderated the event. First, he invited Rabbi Malka shlit"a (may he live long and good days) to the podium. After him, Rabbi Shmuel Isaac Rubinstein spoke, followed by the Moreh Tzedek (halakhic authority) of our community and head of the Kollel Hora'ah (institute for rabbinic ordination), Rabbi Nachman Cohen shlit"a. Then, the Mashgiach (spiritual supervisor) of the Chochma V'Daat junior yeshiva, Rabbi Ashlag shlit"a, addressed the crowd. A holy tremor passed through the audience when the fiery words of our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, were screened, discussing the greatness of unity and the obligation of each and every person to be part of this wonderful activity and to join together in a group of beloved friends and companions. After the holy words, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, offered a blessing upon the heads of the participants, who answered "Amen." To conclude the event, the famous Badchan (traditional entertainer) Reb Aaron Weintraub came up for an hour of pure delight; with rare and unique talent, he gladdened and moved the audience with wonderful rhymes and pearls of wisdom regarding the virtue of unity and the union of the Avreichim (young married scholars). After the Birkat HaMazon (Grace After Meals), all those present received a kit that included olive oil blessed by our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, for lighting the Chanukah candles, and a dedicated letter of blessing from our teacher, the Rav shlit"a.
