On that occasion, a Jewish Torah scholar present there told me about that Jew who spoke against the Rav, saying he has already fallen into the worst things possible. He also told me about what is written in the Gemara, 'Rav Yehuda said in the name of Rav: Anyone who disgraces Torah scholars has no remedy for his wound' (Shabbat 119b), which we learn from the verse, 'Do not touch My anointed ones, and to My prophets do no harm' (Psalms 105:15). 'And to My prophets do no harm' (816) equals exactly the gematria of Rabbi Eliezer Berland (816)."
