Victory and Geulah in the Merit of Righteous Women! The Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

"The Jewish people are in a state of Shoah, and the only ones who can save the Jewish people are Shuvu Banim—only the daughters of Shuvu Banim. They will go with the utmost modesty, the utmost holiness, the utmost purity—and only they can. The girls cause all the disasters—and the Geulah will come only through the girls"—it is impossible to remain indifferent when hearing the piercing words of The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a.
On the night of 27 Tishrei 5783, The Rav Rabbi Berland shlit"a cried out from the depths of his heart over the state of the nation. The Rav feels the pain of the suffering and the victims of terror from the events of 5784, in the Simchas Torah massacre, and he gives the solution that will save Israel.
These are his holy words:In the year 5742 (1982), 600 young men in the hesder framework were killed by our own forces’ fire—religious boys, yeshivah students. It all happened because some girl lifted her skirt and her knee was seen. Because the moment a girl’s knee is seen, it is as though her entire body is seen; it no longer makes a difference. In that very moment, an entire battalion was killed.
Six hundred young men were killed—and it is all because of the girls who shorten their skirts even by one centimeter. The moment they enter Gaza, a thousand people are killed just from our own forces’ fire; entire companies are killed—everyone is killed by our own forces’ fire. They no longer distinguish between terrorists and non-terrorists; everyone shoots in every direction. It is all because of the girls who lift the skirt a little, shorten it, lift the sleeve.
A transparent garment causes an entire battalion to be killed immediately—everyone is killed by our own forces’ fire, not by the Arabs. Now as well, several were killed by our own forces’ fire—soldiers mistakenly shot other soldiers. The girls cause all the disasters—and the Geulah will come only through the girls. Rebbe Nachman brings that the Geulah will come only through the girls who are careful about modesty. The knee that is exposed here is the knee of the snake—it is the skin of the snake. “And Hashem God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skin and clothed them” (Bereishis 3:21)—“garments of skin” is the skin of the snake; the snake shed its skin. The snake had hands and feet; the snake was more cunning than all the beasts of the field—more cunning than all of them. It reached the peak of wisdom; all 50 Gates of Understanding were revealed to it.
“And the Children of Israel went up armed from the land of Egypt” (Shemos 13:18), because to Miriam the prophetess all 50 Gates of Understanding were revealed. Miriam lives forever; all the water in the world is Miriam. Now there is no water in the supermarkets; you can’t get water, because all the water suppliers have been drafted. They will ask people to fill bottles from the tap; the water in the taps is poisoned. People are going out of their minds that there is no water—this is all because of the girls who do not walk with modesty: they shorten the skirt, lift the sleeve, do not button all the buttons at the neck. They cause the water to run out; it brings the most terrible disasters upon the Jewish people.
All the avodah is to cover and conceal the body. The girls emphasize the body instead of covering it; they do the exact opposite. They cause all the terrible disasters, where a thousand babies, children, girls, young men were killed—they cut them into pieces. They told mothers to hold their children and shot them together with the mothers. Horrifying sights—there are people who do not stop crying; they cannot recover at all. It is all because of the girls who suddenly open a button; because of that, an entire battalion is killed—everything is the girls’ fault.
On the other hand, if a girl walks with modesty, she merits that all the enemies are defeated. “He shall crush the corners of Moav and uproot all the children of Sheis” (Bamidbar 24:17)—this is the greatest blessing: to crush the corners of Moav. The Gaon says that if a person goes with peyos, then “He shall crush the corners of Moav.” It depends on the modesty of the girls, and that the boys not cut their peyos. If a child cuts his peyos, in that very moment the enemy enters. The peyos protect us—“He shall crush the corners of Moav”—from Moav, from Amon, from Edom.
A girl goes not with modesty; she travels to a party on the festival—true, she does it for joy, for the sake of Heaven. She traveled to a nature party in the forest of Re’im; it is something very great—she wanted to feel the joy of the festival. But Hamas kidnapped her—and 130 girls and young women. All of them are captives; no one knows what is being done with them. It is all because, in one moment, they lift the skirt or go with pants and bring disaster upon the entire Jewish people. “There shall not be a man’s garment on a woman, and a man shall not wear a woman’s dress” (Devarim 22:5)—these are among the most severe prohibitions.
All evil thoughts belong to the snake; they do not belong to us. Every girl must know that every thought and fantasy she has comes from the snake. It does not come from her nature; it is not “senses”—it is destructive forces. Everything comes from the body of the snake. They do not listen to the good inclination, to the inner soul within them, to the Godly soul; they listen only to what the snake tells them. It is written that the father of Avraham Sternhartz saw his son looking at the bride at the Sheva Berachos, and he slapped him. In Breslov they knew: you do not look at the bride; you do not damage the eyes.
The moment a person turns the woman into the source of his desires, he has damaged children: they cut their peyos, become secular, do not want to keep Shabbos, travel to a party in the middle of the festival. They slaughtered everyone and no one said a word. Three months earlier they took away everyone’s weapons, because it is forbidden to harm Arabs. Then 1,500 Hamas terrorists entered and slaughtered everyone—parents and children. They did not leave a single mother alive, and whoever remained they took captive. All this because some girl exposed her knee, lifted her skirt, not knowing that the moment the knee is seen, the whole body is seen—it makes no difference. This is the greatest sin: “Let Him not see in you a matter of nakedness, and He will turn away from behind you” (Devarim 23:15).
Everyone asks why and for what reason did children and mothers—such righteous, holy, and pure souls—go up in a storm to Heaven? But it is an explicit verse; the Torah cannot be changed: “Let Him not see in you a matter of nakedness, and He will turn away from behind you” (Devarim 23:15). If a girl goes with pants or exposes her knee, then from Heaven they say: manage on your own—anyway you do not believe in Hashem. They bring professionals, rabbis, psychologists, great sages—but what do you want? There is an explicit verse: “Let Him not see in you a matter of nakedness, and He will turn away from behind you” (Devarim 23:15). Everyone walks exposed—so what do you want, that Hashem should protect criminals? And the disgraceful? Today there is no kosher woman at all; they all lift their skirts, they all expose the body. In all the kibbutzim they go exposed; they educate them to do sins—so what do you want? Why are you asking questions?
And this is what all the daughters of Shuvu Banim must know: everything depends on them; the entire Geulah depends on them. All of the Jewish people depend on them, because today there is no one left to speak to. Rebbe Nachman says in Sichos HaRan already 200 years ago that there is no one to speak to—people do not grasp it; people do not understand. What remains in the world is only Shuvu Banim—the only stronghold. It is the last nature preserve left on the entire planet. Besides that, there is no one to speak to. All the girls are promiscuous like in Charan; there not a single girl was kosher—everyone was degraded, abandoned, criminal. That is what is happening today.
Eliezer says to Avraham: where are you sending me? What—should I take the daughter of Saddam Hussein? What do you want from my life? I have an outstanding daughter who was born and raised in the shadow of your Torah, and you tell me to go to Besuel? Rashi says that Besuel did the greatest abominations in the world, and his daughter Rivkah is three years old—and they need to free her.
Today, Eretz Yisrael is the filthiest land in the world. Bibi gave an entire lecture and people did not understand his lecture. He spoke to Breslovers and said: you travel to Uman—know that there are missiles there, there is war; everyone will be killed there. Knesset members from the Mizrachi spoke: how can they allow travel to the most dangerous place in the world? A million missiles a day fly there; no one will return alive from there—how will we protect them? How do they even allow leaving the country? The entire Knesset and the media roared: how do they allow such reckless people to go out? “You shall guard your lives”—it is against halachah, against the Shulchan Aruch.
All he needed to say was: in the Shoah there were no miracles; in Ukraine there were no miracles and a million and a half Jews died there—so here too, you Breslovers will not have miracles. He simply had compassion on the Breslovers; he has a daughter from a previous marriage who is a Breslov chassidah, and also a grandson. Hashem showed Bibi the exact opposite: everything is the opposite of the opposite—the most dangerous place is here, in Eretz Yisrael. A mother with two daughters from the Di family were murdered on the Jordan Valley road. Every day Jews are killed here, and now within two hours a thousand Jews were killed. Rav Shach said that it is forbidden to live here at all; when there was the Yom Kippur War, Rav Shach immediately ruled to leave the land. He said: whoever can flee should flee. They understood that now they are going to destroy the entire Jewish people—to wipe out the Jewish people. The terrorists could have reached Tel Aviv; they could have eliminated the Jewish people in one second—there is no army, there is nothing, because secular people lead the state. There are no soldiers; they took the weapons from the soldiers—Heaven forbid someone should harm a “poor Arab.”
Everything is the opposite of the opposite. It cannot be revealed; it is a failure; it is a Shoah—the Jewish people are in a state of Shoah, and the only ones who can save the Jewish people are Shuvu Banim—only the daughters of Shuvu Banim. They will go with the utmost modesty, the utmost holiness, the utmost purity—and only they can. Therefore everyone must accept upon themselves to say a Sefer Tehillim, because now they want to enter Gaza; they are afraid, so they keep postponing it. They are afraid that thousands of soldiers will die. Soldiers die from our own forces’ fire; when they enter, they do not distinguish who is a terrorist and who is a soldier. They shoot one another; a thousand soldiers can die just from our own forces’ fire. It has already been four days of war (at the time of the lesson) and they still have not entered Gaza—mortal fear to enter Gaza; who knows who will live and who will die.
Now it was Yom Kippur; we said, “Who will live and who will die.” People did not fast on Yom Kippur; whoever prayed on Yom Kippur received brutal beatings. They canceled the Second Hakafos in Tel Aviv—Second Hakafos are what save the Jewish people. They do everything the opposite of the opposite; the secular want to uproot the entire Torah, the entire religion. So now they received the answer—twelve days after Yom Kippur, Hashem answered them.
Now all the salvation of this generation is only through Shuvu Banim. Only they guard holiness and purity, and everything depends on them. Every girl should accept upon herself to say, every day for 30 days, a Sefer Tehillim. And every boy: three Sifrei Tehillim and ten pages of Gemara every day until the end of the war.
