Watch, Amazing: Attorney Efraim Dimri Shares Supernatural Stories from His Meetings with the Admor HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
Awe-inspiring. After we previously brought you an article in which Attorney Efraim Dimri expressed himself regarding the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, with words such as, "There is nothing like this, he speaks with angels, I have transformed myself into his chassid," we now present to you the words Attorney Dimri delivered before the masses at the distinguished gathering of the yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) of Rabbi Natan of Breslov at Tamir Halls.
Attorney Efraim Dimri, the defense attorney for our Teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, participated on Saturday night in the hillula (celebration of life) of Rabbi Natan of Breslov, organized by the 'Shuvu Banim' community at Tamir Halls in Jerusalem. There, he recounted his impressions from his meetings with our Teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, during which he became aware, in his words, of the Rav's supernatural abilities.

It is worth noting that Attorney Dimri initially arrived solely as the Rav's lawyer, intended to represent him moving forward. However, as he relates, things were revealed to him there regarding which he could not remain indifferent.
"When I entered, I was told I had 10 minutes to recount a few personal stories I experienced with Rabbi Berland shlit"a. But the truth is, even ten months would not suffice for me. We could sit here all night and still not finish, so how can I manage in 10 minutes? These are miracles I see every day; it is something supernatural and superhuman. The words of Torah I will share during my speech, I heard from Rabbi Berland shlit"a, and he asked me to say them here."
"I can call Rabbi Berland shlit"a 'The Divine Kabbalist,' because I witness great miracles from him every day and every hour. The Holy One, Blessed is He, granted me the privilege to serve Rabbi Berland shlit"a and to be in his presence daily. He also granted me the merit to learn Torah from him; it is impossible to contain the depth and knowledge of the Rav. For example, he studies a chapter of the Prophets with me, and the very paragraph he recites by heart opens immediately and precisely before us. He explains a specific Halacha to me, and the book opens straight to that exact place. Again, he tells me a Torah thought and asks to show me the source in the book Likutey Moharan; he opens the book all at once, extending a finger precisely to the exact quote without turning pages and without searching. It is something superhuman."
"I am not inventing this, nor am I exaggerating. All conversations with Rabbi Berland shlit"a take place where we are being listened to and filmed. The Rav said regarding our Torah portion, Vayigash: 'And behold, the kings met together.' The power of the brothers was in their unity, therefore our power lies in our unity. The Rav explained that Joseph and Judah came on a mission from Jacob our Patriarch to prepare us for the coming of Mashiach Tzidkenu (our Righteous Messiah), as Jacob says to Joseph, 'Go, and I will send you.'"
"I will tell you stories you won't believe. The Prison Service established committees of inquiry to investigate how a door opens without pressing the button. This happened to me; it is real," said the attorney.
Attorney Dimri continued and related:
"I was standing outside in the lawyers' room, waiting for a guard to open the door for me—an iron door. Everything is on closed-circuit cameras; you cannot open a door when another door is already open. I said to the Rav, 'The guard isn't here, he must have left, and the door is locked.' Rabbi Berland shlit"a said to me: 'Push.' It didn't open. The Rav told me, 'Push.' I pushed, and the door opened—a door weighing perhaps a ton, opened. The guard arrived and asked me, 'How did you get in?' 'I told him I pushed the door.' He looked at the cameras, called his officer; they didn't understand. I told the Rav, 'They are confused.' He said to me: 'It's no big deal, let them be confused.'"
Later, the attorney told the participants: "A female officer from the prison called me and asked: 'Is he sane?' I answered her, 'More than you.' 'So why does he sit on the floor every night and cry?' I told her: 'He is reciting Tikkun Chatzos (Midnight Lamentation), Tikkun Rachel, Tikkun Leah; he is praying with the Nation of Israel and weeping.'"
"'I sent a Russian psychologist to him,' the officer continued to tell me. 'She diagnosed that his level of intelligence is beyond the human mind. He knows history, he knows mathematics.' Gentlemen, the Rav drove them crazy there. They ran all kinds of tests on him and couldn't understand. In the end, they came out crazy." And there is more: "One day, the prison commander asked me to look at something on the security cameras. He showed me that there is constantly a halo around Rabbi Berland shlit"a. Real. They thought there was a problem with the cameras—these are very high-quality cameras—and they didn't understand what this halo around him was. The prison commander said to me: 'Do you see this?' I told him, 'This is a Jewish Tzaddik who studies Torah all day and prays with Israel; that is a halo, gentlemen.'"
"The Druze prison commander comes to kiss his hand; the officers bow before him. This is a halo. This is what the Rav does."
"One day, I entered Rabbi Berland shlit"a's room together with another lawyer, and we started singing with the Rav. Rabbi Berland shlit"a loves to sing very much. We were singing and dancing, and suddenly Rabbi Berland shlit"a told me that we needed to be his guests now. Understand, the distance from the lawyers' room where we were to the Rav's room is at least a hundred meters, lined with guards, cameras, etc. 'How will we get there, Honorable Rav?' I asked out of politeness, while having no doubt that it was impossible."
"The Rav took his tallis, placed it over our heads, and took us all the way to the room. We entered a room full of books, stacks upon stacks of books—only books. Rabbi Berland shlit"a cleared away some books, poured us something to drink, we made a blessing, and the Rav said, 'Now I have fulfilled the mitzvah of Hachnasat Orchim (hospitality).' Suddenly, the wing commander ran toward us, shouting in panic: 'Where were you? I don't see you on the cameras!' We answered him that we were in Rabbi Berland shlit"a's room. He insisted, 'It cannot be! Look, I don't see you on the cameras.' Rabbi Berland shlit"a stood there smiling at him."
"Before the first time I entered to see Rabbi Berland shlit"a, I stopped to immerse in the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). When I entered, the Rav looked at me with a smile and said, 'You immersed in the Kinneret.' I said to him, 'Honorable Rav, how do you know?' 'You immersed in the Kinneret, and I see angels around you. Come, enter and sit,' the Rav said to me and the angels."
"'Honorable Rav, I will not sit until His Honor sits!' Rabbi Berland shlit"a sat down with us, and for 45 minutes he spoke with the angels. There was a Druze guard there whose hands wouldn't stop shaking from fear. Rabbi Berland shlit"a spoke, detailing to me the names of the angels and their locations; it was one of the most beautiful sights I have seen in my life. The Rav sang the song 'Shaarei Tzion' to the angels for a full hour. Rabbi Berland shlit"a said to me, 'From today, you are my lawyer, and these are the angels that will accompany you.'
There are stories I will be able to tell only after Rabbi Berland shlit"a is released, with Hashem's help. If I say a word of it, tomorrow the entire Prison Service will be up in arms and won't understand how it happened. We see wondrous things there.
